Is it even possible to edit it beyond simple dragging aspects of it? Like I can’t even resize my chat window from it’s miniature size! If this is to “expand” the customization and creating a “unique” setup for a player, then it’s the damn bare minimum…

I am hating it, it says classic style, but then I also can not change chat size and font size we all do not have great sight and wish I had not bought it now I really can not get on with this classic should be same settings as before not this,
Even the map is not user-friendly for me, it means I have to keep stopping for the m button silly ui
Go into the ui edit mode, click the chat, in the bottom right corner there will be a gray triangle.
Use that to adjust.
It also changes size with the ui scale in your graphics settings. But this is slightly different.
The ui scale settings changes this.
But it will also scale the map as well.
This is the root of my fears about it (still not seen it).
My eyesight isn’t great and most modern IT aesthetic is about transparency, overlays, squiggly little icons, tiny fonts (where icons aren’t used) and quite of lot of things that probably look fancy to those with 20:20 vision but to me just make things difficult.
Agree its totally unplayable like that. They having a laugh here. It shouldn’t of been put on live in that state.

How to disable blizzard castbar?
Changing chat font size (if that is what u needed ? 
)
(You don’t need to be in UI edit mode to do this.)
Right click General tab above chat box
Drop down menu shows font size where you can set it from 12pt up to 18pt
There is also a background option on this drop down to change the colour and make text show up better. Slide the bar up to top + to remove transparency and make the colour solid. I set mine to black so text shows up clearly.

It was driving me mad! Thanks so much, now if only someone would talk in trade in stormwind so I can check my chatbox is working. It’s eerily quiet!
edit - and thanks to my stupidity figuring out how to move the buffs, /1 in stormwind came to the rescue, so I can see my chat is working too!

I can’t see the cast bar any ideas?
If you mean your characters cast bar, it is listed as an option on the main HUD edit mode box, just tick it.
There is also an option on your chars portrait when clicking it, to allow the cast bar to show underneath your portrait.
PLEASE! Could someone explain to me how to make it looking as it should? I hate this new thing!
