With this new custom UI mode we always have bugged Ui in aerena.
The frames of our team and of the enemies are always bugged for me.
Sometimes they show, sometimes they don t show.
I also can not change their position/size in edit mode because they get predetermined place in the corners of my screen, erasing always my placement after I hit Save. It is a really big mess. Literallty unplayable rated pvp solo shuffle or arena with this new UI.
Really Blizzard, I record a video for you, other ppl on internet have same issue and u “resolve” my tiket by telling me u have no clue what can I do? I have no addons installed, I have no curseforge client, I deleted and renamed cache, wtf…

Unfortunately, while we would love to be able to intervene on this for you and get this fixed up, we here at Customer Support are unfortunately unable to verify or fix issues with mechanics such as this
When u try to write from game, they give u a link to copy so u send the tiket on internet.
All that gm said was: we do not understand, we do not know, we do not care, tiked solved, bye bye. I can also say, if I can t play arena/solo shuffle, I unsub, prolly they do not care also…
I provided very clear info with even a video recorded to show exactly my problem so they can see it and at least have the decency to not mark the tiket resolved by default …
Not to mention that party frames and enemy frames were a bug show since they introduced this new UI in Shadowlands, sometimes showing inside arena, sometimes not, all random. Now this new bug is adding on top of the previous issues.
That depends on what you’re trying to get help for, they’ve got quite a few categories after all.
But your case can be summed up by either that it’s a bug in the game, and that will only make them refer you to reporting that there’s a bug and if it goes far enough as like with you then tell you to do a fresh install of the game. Because for one, CS agents on the website don’t really have access to things in-game, they can deal with account issues such as logins, payment issues if they’re in that department, characters disappearing from your list of characters, and so on.
But they can’t go into your game files and look at what you’re claiming is a bug. It’s not part of their job nor what they’ve got access to do. That’s why they refer you to just reporting the bug via the in-game support menu.
Secondly, in-game GMs can deal with things in the game world, like, let’s say you’ve bugged your character so much that you’re constantly being hit by mobs spawning every second around you and instantly hitting you. That’s what in-game GMs can help with. They can’t help you with your UI.
As for your in-game issues with the new UI, you’re gonna have to troubleshoot it. It’s your only option. Just dragging up the options isn’t gonna be enough, just renaming those folders isn’t gonna be enough, you’re gonna have to look at correlations and what might be causing it, as well as turn on the showing of LUA errors to see if the game client is reporting any errors when it happens and if so then what does it say.
You’re also gonna have to try a different computer, and so on. Troubleshooting is really boring and tedious, but that’s your only option other than quitting the game entirely.
And no, they won’t care if they lose you as a customer. Nobody will care if you quit the game.

I opened a second tiket and checking more solutions. It seems they do not master very well this new UI system they implemented.
I have the exact same problem as OP but I found a way around it.
Every time you move your arena frames you need to save your UI preset as a new layout, instead of overwriting it. This is a bit awkward as you need to do it every time you move anything in UI, but at least it works for now, until Blizzard fixes it.
Cheers, indeed, every time you create a new layout, the frames will stay, but u can not save anything later on, the moment you tweek something and click another save, RIP.
Yeah you need to save any changes to UI as new layout every time you change anything in the UI, even if it’s not arena frames, that’s why I said it’s a bit awkward but at least it works.
I had this issue since prepatch so I hope it gets fixed eventually, for now at least we got this workaround.
Well, the gm that answered me trolled me by copy pasting some geneal stuff like reseting the UI and restarting wow, while he marked the tiket “solved”. So, I guess there will not be any fix soon, no blue, nothing, Blizz is not even aware of this so far.
in solo shuffle all was ok so far, didn t play much arena, so far the damn frames are the problem. Other annoying bug is the nameplate of hunter after faint death, sometimes there s no way to get it back till the end of game. And enemy frames sometimes not showing at all, no matter where they are set in your bugged UI.
I wasnt sure about hunter, I thought its maybe some stupid new skill or smth.
After feign dead health bar disappears and sometimes felt like hunter shrank in size at same time :d
