UI with nameplates only?

OK so I’m looking to keep the blizzard nameplates and sort of hide or move the unit frames out of the way. The reason I want it blizzard is to restrict errors and elvui seemed to disappear inside and instance - raid/dungeon etc.

All i want is for the nameplates to show debuffs and cast bars. I cant for the life of me figure out how to get my cast bar to stick to my name plate.

And a stupidly simple way to move stuff on screen just like elvui toggle anchor and number of buttons per row but with blizzard style. Can I get any advice please?

You can’t customise friendly nameplates within instanced content. So I’m afraid what you desire, is not possible.

Is having castbar attached to the blizzard nameplate not stock and I’ve turned it off somehow? That nameplate displays all debiffs etc so it would make sense for them to atleast add the cast bar to it. I’m not fussed about party member nameplates.

I did use elvuis nameplates for a while but got annoyed at them changing when I played actual raids or dungeons.

That was them reverting to Blizzard nameplates.
