UK players getting lagged to high heaven

Nordic players as well. We are so close to abandon Wow and do a pr*n raid instead.

Also, a LOT of people are being laid off from their jobs at the end of this month so more & more people use the internet in general, WoW’s servers are prolly overloaded as a consequence.

any reason I have the pinwheel on middle of screen saying “currently downloading important game data” and when I close out wow, theres nothing to download?

We suck all the bandwidth binge watching series at the max resolution on Prime, Puny.

UK Award for Being UK goes to

Virgin Media has been very bad since last evening, tonight I switched to talktalk until they fix whatever it is.

They said ( when I called the “is there a fault in your area?” phone number)
That they were doing maintenance in the [insert postcode] area, and normal service should be resumed around 6am.
That was Sunday/Monday am lol. I couldn’t sleep, went on a building binge then wanted to reply to a utube post and just as I was about to hit save, the net went out.

We could ask captain tom to do another 100 laps so blizz can get better servers.

Western peoples problem =]] I am from Eastern Europe and have zero lags in WoW.

Been with them for years & have 0 issues with them.

Wait till you get an issue.

It is because after leaving the EU, UK internet needs to wait for clearance at the border.

JK, it could be ISP throttling access. In light of the current world situation, there’s been reports of ISPs messing with people’s connection just to be able to handle the extra demand.

If they are trying to Meter out peoples internet, then they need to stop picking on gamers.
Whole family’s binging on Netflix, Disney+ and other streaming services at 4k are the issue.
From what I hear, workers and gamers are using the lower end of the net bandwidth while mom,dad and 3 kids all streaming at higher resolution are probably who are sucking up the bandwidth.

@Zathras, of course you don’t have any problems. Draal hooked you up with direct feed from Epsilon3 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’m with virgin, and while I have had some gripes this week, its the worst I have had since before my cable WAS owned by them. It starred out as ‘yorkshire cable’ who were bought by ‘blueyonder’ who then were bought by ‘virgin media’ lol. The last time was back in the ‘neverwinter nights’ days when my cable had a splice and the connection went down to -10. That was so bad private servers would crash if I tried to connect. I was actually banned from one for it, they thought I was hacking or something. I can’t even hack with dice in cyberpunk lmao, only in BioShock. (I like the water puzzle versions)
That was over 10 years ago.
Maybe they all hope to use the outages to try to push the 5g as a saviour?
