Since Blizzard made a post telling us about how they will not increase ulduar tier ilvls I’ve decided to post a suggestion. How about hardmode bosses dropping an item that you can increase ilvl of tier from 232 to 245. They will still be under the current 252 hardmode pieces , and reward people from clearing hardmodes, but still not as silly as the 20 ilvl gap. Right now bis lists will be absolutely silly due to the stat difference in ilvl.
Examples of current ilvl issues: Warriors tier looks pretty good, so its bis to use 4set for single target. Though… that being said ulduar has alot of fights with cleave. And for cleave we’re encouraged to use 252 ilvl gear for for the raw stats they provide. Please reconcider this Blizz, this is a pretty silly situatuon to have tier sets feel “bad” to get.
All nice ideas mate, we all want more item levels but unfortunately theres gonna be a big disparity between pvp and pve gear, during ulduar. Not sure how its gonna work out
Since when is having to think about your items going into a bossfight or thrash a bad thing? Locks did it all of TBC, Rogues are doing it now including a respec.
(I’m not exactly a fan of the Ulduar gear being buffed to begin with, because it undermines the next tier.)
It’s fine as it is and Blizz is right on this one. All of the cry babies on the US forum can cry harder. Seriously, y’all talk as if you’re gonne be decked in 252 gear in two weeks. Tier set is fine, most people will use a lot of the normal mode Ulduar gear for a long time and very slowly replace it with 252 gear.
This is a non-issue. A lot of tier sets were absolute trash for most of Classic vanilla and no one cared. Now the tier sets are good, just not the absolute best and it’s an issue? As said, having full 252 gear will be a pipe dream for most for a long time.
