Apparently just hotfixed into the game:
Those essences were the main reason I did all the dailies every day. I’ll be more picky now, i.e. no more rares and chests.

I am overcapping on Vessels anyways. This is a nice change.
After you get the buff rolling it hits for almost 120k and crits upwards of 230k. I guess Method will need every bit of help to save face in getting world 2nd. This could have easily been changed with next week’s reset in order to preserve some of the integrity and legitimacy of the race.
It’s stupid in a way that it allows the user to almost walk around and one shot mobs on a 5 second cooldown without need to use any other abilities. It completely ruins any sort of immersion the player would have in the game. By the time you farmed up to Exalted you’d pretty much get tired of all the content that is in the game and you’d need not to revisit the open world but for Paragon bags. Having it at Exalted would mean another 3 weeks of what would be extremely dull grind and then you’d get to enjoy it after completing all the activities available in the game. The life span of the game has effectively been cut in half with this change.
This simply invalidated most of the content and made it even more dull. With 8.3 being sold to us the last proper patch until the pre-expansion event how long do the developers think before everyone gets completely bored of the world with this type of approach to combat? Not that it was any fun before, but still.
Have they even thought about how hundreds of multiboxers will be able to fly around one shotting players on a 5 second cooldown?
Best two comparisons to this are Hunter Crows and the Rogue Combo talents, but none of them are even close to being as overpowered as the major effect of this essence empowered by a single kill, which simply allows you to keep it rolling with a 30 sec timer for leisure.
What was the point of scaling open world mobs to player item level in the first place if not to slow down the pace at which you were able to murder everything in sight with no downtime? This is complete nonsense and the death of open world content. Did you learn nothing from Echoing Void corruption which was able to obliterate dungeon content when used by a tank player. You know what I mean, a third or more of your total damage coming from random effects which aren’t tied to player input or related at all to his skill at all.

The race is already over.
Every other guild raiding Mythic will now have access to rank 3, if that’s the essence they use.

Holy cows! I am dooonnne! Got revered yesterday with both, made some contracts and sold some uldums for 1200+ 
Finding out they dont give bonus in rajani or uldum at all.

This is a great change. Puzzling why they were exhalted in the first place. But at least it’s been corrected now
Rank 4s of reputation essences have been a thing for the last six months, not sure what you were expecting.
A really nice change. I am 8400/12000 with Uldum. So this should be done soon 
I was expecting them to learn from their mistake to put something behind a serious RNG overkill.
With all the bugs and balance changes during the race it had no integrity already. Not to meantion that Blizzard had to step in and e-mail the guilds that a certain phase is a bug and it doesnt actually exist XD. Honorable mentions to that N’zoth despawn.
On a possitive note the best guild this tier did prevail and got the WF. The guys in Limit really did step up their game and showed some out of the box thinking.
