Unable to “Cast Door of Shadows to cross the barrier” even though all previous quests have been completed. No pop-up tile appears either. Clicking on the flowers does nothing. Have disabled addons, have restarted game … What now?

This might sound stupid, but there’s a comment on wowhead from 10 days ago suggesting that you can simply walk backwards into the wall if ever you’re stuck on the quest. Not sure if this still works, but maybe worth a shot? (Comment)
The quest seems to be giving people a headache in general, but maybe the workaround helps for now
