Unable to disable addons on one character

Hello!

So i decided to start levelling up my hunter in DF and wanted to disable an addon to sort a few bits out. Every time i select either the option to untick one addon or even disable all addons, as soon as i reload UI they are still on.

Tried 30 times today and they never switch off.

Decided to do a scan and repair which then seemed to bug wow entirely and couldn’t patch or update so decided to uninstall and re-install…
Same issues, addons will not switch off.

I have deleted all addons, added one back and still cannot switch off.

I disabled DMB and went to rogue, warlock, mage - all had DBM off, went to hunter and its still on.

Also another issue is to do with a engineering recipe i saved as a favourite, its listed itself 3 times (just the one recipe) and theirs no way for me to unfavourite it, it still just sits there.

You can always uninstall them (the addons, that is).

It literally takes seconds to reinstall them, so its not like its a problem.

of course i can, doesn’t fix the problem sadly. I’d rather know what the problem is instead of a temp band aid fix

Delete Addons.txt in your hunters profile folder.

\World of Warcraft_retail_\WTF\Account<accountname><realm><huntername>\addons.txt

Also, disable them on the hunter while on the hunter. The global filter on the login screen doesn’t always work as you’d expect.
