Unable to do battles

I have already done battles. Got plenty pets.
On the “Taming Kalimdor” I have battled :

Zunta
Dagra
Analynn
Zonya

So I move to the next one : Merda Stronghoof

And… nothing.

I have been checking all around Kalimdor the various pet masters that I have not yet battled with. NONE offer battles.

I have the “show low level quests” active.
Cannot do any pet battle.

So… what do I do ??

This has been a problem since forever, the whole Horde->Kalimdor, Alliance->EK split for the first continent of pet tamers. It has been buggy and glitchy from the start.

If you read down all the way through the various comments here:

Taming Kalimdor

you will find workarounds that have solved it for different people. They include:

1. Simply relogging
2. Making a Level 1, and checking Varzok for the quest.
3. Getting a character eligible for Chromie time, and setting thir Chromie Time to Warlords, and get them to try
4. Making an Alliance character, and working through the Alliance chain (not usually recommended because I’ve seen people who scrweed up the sequence that way, but …)
5. Getting some lower-level alt to the tamer (Merda, in your case)
