So basically none of the NPCs in the K’aresh starting area are currently offering the ‘skip’ to my alts, even though I have completed the main storyline up to and including “That’s a Wrap”. What am I missing please?
Some comments on wowhead say apparently the requirements for getting the skip on alts has moved during the second week… now apparently you need to complete the raid on the main char first…?! To kill Dimensius in the raid (story mode). Or is that not actually necessary? Is it just another bug courtesy of Blizzard?
Would be grateful to anyone who can help solve this!
The skip should be available as soon as you follow Locus Walker to Karesh.
Have you completed the 2 purple follow up quests once you got the cloak?

I found completing the story up until the raid quest requirement, then on your alt going and speaking to the guy who can upgrade your cape, then going back to Om’en (or whatever the four legged guy is as you enter K’aresh is called, allowed me to skip the campaign
yesterday i find myself in the same situation. arrived in tazalvesh city i found the place empty with no fp and just the dot to accept the first quest.
I discovered just after 10 mins af useless flyin that the quest giver had the skip.
I have the issue that I was able to skip the campaign on half of my alts, but now on my other half there is no option when you enter K’aresh to skip anymore.
Really puzzling.
I found that alts who’d used the skip before the last chapters were available can’t skip further, whereas alts who didn’t go to k’aresh can now skip up to the manaforge story mode quest. So nothing new there I suppose
The NPC for skipping the campaign is literally at the entrance into the zone as you port in from Dornogal.
Thanks very much for the link - with the article’s help I was able to pinpoint what I was missing! Basically the Phase Diving part. Pity that such useful info is not more readily available online.
It’s a bit annoying that this extra bunch of quests is not part of the main questline because you can easily miss it (as I did) and then be left wondering why you’re not getting the skips on alts. As I dislike questing and therefore I do the minimum amount required in order to unlock whatever major (end game) content; in this case I wanted to get straight to the raid as soon as possible on all my alts.

I missed a quest skip too, what i did is simply fly up at the cloak master, resi cloak, and then i could just get it there.
No quest , i just got the free cloak at the vendor.
