Directed here as part of the response to ticket * EU101365356
As I explained in my initial ticket, my guild killed heroic Salhadaar on patch day (wednesday 8th October on Draald-Frostwhisper) after which I could not interact with the loot box. Attempting to do so displayed a “you’re too far away” message on screen. I attempted to resolve this by logging out then in but that made it worse as the cursor no longer changed to the interact icon and I was unable to retirieve the guilded crest reward. to adress the ticket response:-
“you must not have left the instance before rolling for the loot”
I did not. The loot rolls appeared as normal when others in the group opened the box and I was able roll on that. I simply could not open the box myself for the remaining rewards. On logging back in I returned to the central platform and no message appeared to indicate I was no longer in the group and about to be teleported out of the instance.
“You should check your mailbox thoroughly for the item”
Ticket was created specifically because the automatc mail containing missed loot did not appear, and still has not. I assume because for whatever reason I’ve not been flagged as elligable for the reward. I also clear it regularly.
“you must not have already won a copy of the same item in that run”
it was our first raid since weekly reset so no previous completion
“you must not have tied for the highest roll, as that can affect loot distribution”
the only thing missing is crests. there’s no roll involved
