Unable to receive notification with code when trying to add my Bulgarian Phone Number

When I click add phone number I get to the menu where it requires to enter the phone number I get the Bulgarian code +359 automatically selected, then I enter my phone number without the ‘0’ and click Continue.
and it show the phone number on the next page and says “We’ve sent a security code to your mobile number.”. But I’m not receiving any notifications or SMS.
After contacting my Mobile Service Provider they informed me that nothing is getting to their server, so nothing is actually being blocked. Additionally I tried adding the number to my google account the whole process took like 1 min, I wasn’t even required to use a code, but still received notification from google that the number was added. I have been trying for a week to explain to the GM on a ticket the the issue is on their end but they just bid for time and suggest things that I have already tried and nothing helps. I’m at my wits end if someone had a similar problem please help so I can finally add the stupid phone to the authenticator. Is it possible that it is because I only have paid subscription to an US server… and don’t have paid subscription to an EU server?
I have also done the following…
“Ok I was able to try again today but I still didn’t receive any notifications I only have 1 smart phone but there is the phone of my brother with a different number. But this phone is not a smart phone and is not able to receive notifications if it is an SMS it should be able to receive an SMS. But When I tried my brother’s phone number it still didn’t send an SMS to the phone. Now I’m going to swap the sim cards and see if when the SIM card with my brother’s number is using the smart phone will receive the notification with the code… No luck there… my only option left is to try the Phone Number of my grandmother since she is on a different Mobile Service Provider. But if you are sending and SMS and not just an notification it should be possible to be received even by a regular cell phone…
That in the picture is the regular cellphone that my brother is using, I can assure you that I have a smartphone…”

I think this could be the problem … it may have changed, but long ago your phone region needs to match your WoW region.
Hopefully a blue may be along later and confirm or deny this.
