Unable to restore a deleted Character on Gehennas

Unable to restore character which I have on Gehennas, when I try to restore an error message appears “There was a problem restoring your deleted character. Please try again later”. I previously had characters on Gehennas but these were moved due to Realm space and constant queues making the game impossible to play, a game which a subscription is required for.

So I currently have no characters on Gehennas, but one resides on the deleted character list, which is therefore still on the realm just not active, due to this I am unable to play with my buddies as Classic does not allow cross-realm

Could character restorations be allowed on Gehennas??

Sounds like we both know what the issue is. You have no characters on the realm, the realm is not open to new characters, and the restore feature is just following the rules in place. Sucks

Unfortunately, if you have no other characters on a locked realm you’re unable to use the character restore feature. Tough luck OP.
