Unable to select nvidia specific features in graphic settings with a compatible nvidia GPU

I am running WoW on a more than capable desktop with the following main specs:

  • Windows11
  • Nvidia RTX 4070 Super
  • AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3D
  • Ram (DDR5 - 32GB)

dxdiag: https://pastebin.com/hgyU1L3q

In WoW graphic settings, all my Nvidia related settings are read as a compatibility issue (Latency, Ray tracing Shadows, VRS, FidelityX CACAO. Every time when I try to change my Anti Aliasing it just swaps back to none and messes up the ability to select other options. It is as if WoW refuses to read my graphics card as compatible (it is selected as the main GPU ingame) and/or can’t seem to adjust settings. Other settings can be adjusted (e.g. viewing distance, Compute Effects, Shadows, …).

All drivers are up to date on my pc, I have already checked my directories for restrictions, but the files are open to be adjusted. I have ran a repair of the client thus far and deleted the config file to start over. Performed a clean install on Windows 11, the GPU drivers and WoW itself.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Are you using DX11 or DX12? Not sure if the features require either but might be worth trying to switch to the different one.

It might also be worth checking Nvidia’s settings (not familiar with nvidia how they work nowadays) and see if thre are custom settings set for WoW.

I also can’t enable vrs anymore.
Used to be able to.
Maybe they disabled it from their side because it was causing bugs.
Also on nvidia but much weaker, gtx 1650.
Updated drivers and all.
