I have done everything suggested on the forums, both by players and official posts, but I am still unable to use Chromie Time.

Well first off, there is no king and second I already toured the city…
I did everything required in-game, but still nothing.
I gave up and started leveling in Legion content without CT, but now, because I am not time-walking, I run into the problem that I cannot queue for instances to complete the Pillars of Creation quests.
I also opened a ticket, but the response I got is that there will not be given any help on quests?? When did I ask for help on a quest?
I have exactly the same issue. I’ve tried everything and no luck.
Its been fine with 2 others toons I’ve recently levelled but my Dwarf Shaman is stuck doing BFA content.
Anyone got any solutions other than doing the Kul Tiras intro which I’ve done? There is similar post on the NA forums, people clearly having the same problem.
I’ve seen and read this before I posted and sadly it doesn’t address or fix the issue we are having. I’ve taken the city tour AND done the alliance intro ‘A Nation Divided’ and Chromie still tells this toon the same thing…

As the first posted stated, the king isn’t even there so what else can we try?
Do I have to abandon this toon and start again or is there anything else I can do/try?
I’m having exactly the same problem and tried everything mentioned on the forums. Yet, Chromie still tells me “maybe I can send you back once you’ve toured the city”. I have completed the main Boralus questline and did the tour.
Me and my brother made a new character each and leveled together. He encountered this issue while I did not. After Exile’s Reach we chose to tour the city of Stormwind even though we could skip it. After the tour it was time for the BFA intro. My brother SKIPPED the jailbreak while I did not. I went through the whole thing with Flynn and met up with Taelia in Boralus. After meeting with Cyrus and completing Sanctum of the Sages, I was able to talk to Chromie and choose a timeline. My brother tried talking to Chromie BEFORE Sanctum of the Sages, nothing. He completed Sanctum of the Sages and tried Chromie again. Nothing. He went back to Boralus and did A Nation Divided, and could still not get anything out of Chromie. She’s still telling him to get to know the present, tour the city and talk to the king. This bug seems to occur rarely and is probably rooted in the code for requirements before Chromie’s dialogue options pop up.
We’re gonna continue to level our Gnome Monks through classic zones so don’t worry about us. But please bring this example to your developers, as it might screw up the starting experience for a lot of new players.
Another interesting side note to this is that my brother could accept quests in Blasted Lands regarding the Iron Horde intro from the camp by the beach, while I could not. I only had the quest to talk to Khadgar and could not accept anything else by the beach. Evidence points towards the fact that he’s “stuck” in some kind of vanilla standard phase.
Not sure this will help. But those quests only ever appeared to me once I removed the intro quest, to meet Khadgar.
Then suddenly 3 new quests at the beach appeared.
Please do not necro older threads reporting older issues. If you have a quest issue, you should inquire about it on the Quests and Achievements forums or check a fansite like WoWhead.com
