Ooh, a levelling event. How positively thrilling. I love levelling.
/sarcasm
I don’t know what I expected when they said there would be an event for PvE players, but I hoped it might at least be fun.

Yeah! This is what I’m talking about! This is perfect - a leveling experience with rewards. Hopefully it isn’t too fast but it’d still be awesome!
this is gonna be really fun
Things I’ve never said for 500
I just prefer evergreen content instead of having to complete stuff before an event ends. I don’t like the seasonal model. I was hoping for SoO timewalking, not this.
i like mop! have leveled most of my char in mop since chromie time. i hope for cool rewards and balanced raids ^^ maybe challange mode
Everytime theres limited time events loads, I mean loads of players show their frustration. But Blizz keeps going, what gives? Really confusing
This doesn’t sound too bad.
I hope we can level Allied Races via this event, unlocking the racial transmogs.
And I’m down. My favorite setting.
You do know that the team which developed plunderstorm is a completely different team which has nothing to do with the team which develops the live game ?
Really nice! Looking forward to this
With this we could we more sure, that classic MoP servers are not planned, it comes with this form of event.
Need to see how it will actually look like, but sounds very promising! Especially if the event brings back unobtainable FOMO and low chance drop mounts and tmogs from the past, that could be just bought with farmed currency, it’s a great form of revisiting past content!
Head to a bazaar in any zone to purchase everything from class transmogs, to Mists of Pandaria mounts, toys, and more. This allows players to purchase items that were previously unable to obtain or difficult to obtain as random drops by simply spending this new currency to add them to their account’s collection.
This sounds genius!
Also does this mean we’ll have more character slots in TWW? It says we get more slots for remix characters but they become regular characters in TWW.
Let’s play the hell out it boys, so that we get MoP classic one day
To get more people involved. This type of content is something you can do with a friend who you just introduced to the game without rushing them to endgame. It is also content for the players who listened to Metzens “Its time to return home” and are slowly getting back in to the game. Its also a great way to catch the interest of players who are currently not subbed because they don’t even need the latest expansion to participate.
And we need to face the fact that the community is split between classic and retails players. Events like this allow everyone to particpate.
On a side note: You still get cosmetics which you can use on your main and wow was never game which you could fully explore on one character. Doesn’t matter if we are talking about Class Quests back in the day, Order Hall Campaigns in Legion or Evoker specific story content in Dragonflight.
The blog post says they will be converted to regular characters at the end of the event. So this event is a potential way to level your new main for TWW.
I’d have preferred an event where I can use my actual main character instead of having to create a new, separate character.
By the sound of it, this is an accelerated type of “MoP Classic” of sorts with a couple extra features where we can later move the character to retail. I like it better than Plunderstorm, but I’d definitely have liked the event to be less separate from the regular game.

Additional character slots will be available so that you have room for your new fully leveled and fully geared hero to join you in your continuing adventures through the Worldsoul Saga™. All Remix characters created during the event will convert to a standard character to play within modern World of Warcraft at the end of the event.
I think we do. I kinda read it wrong the first time but I think it answers my question.
Oh my bad!!!
