Under water content has NEVER been good. Sinkhole delve

Underwaterbreathing elixirs help with one issue but Lord why does Brann feel the need to pull all the elite sharks?

Sinkhole barely counts as underwater, only for the breathing mechanic, you don’t swim at all, and the underwater setting is actually refreshing, i would take it a hundred times before another generic Nerubian Web bolt spamming Arachnid delve.

You’re running on the ground, it’s literally no different to everywhere else… just need to keep eye on your breath.

It ain’t like you’re actually swimming and doing combat while swimming.

You are not even swimming in that delve what are you on about?

Swap the numbers and I imagine that’s the more accurate number

I dislike the underwater, candle and totem mechanic.

Have you played gw2?

We should just have flat zone with enemies that does nothing special, and no extra mechanics according to selected few people on this thread.

I do not like timers, so Sinkhole will get a pass from me every time.

Delves for me is all about being abel to take my time.

I really dislike them, too. Way back in the day (think NES) I hated those games where the screen would progress from left to right giving you no choice but go go go or you’d die/get pushed to your demise. Timers in mmorpg’s feel exactly like that. I hate being rushed x)

It literally plays like it’s above water. You walk on the ocean floor the entire time at 100% movement speed. It’s purely aesthetic at this point.

What exactly, precisely are we complaining about here?

brb playing Homeworld Remastered.

People are too scared of 3D :]

… Really? Usually the complaint of underwater zones is that it messes with your movement, often by making you slower or having to navigate in 3d space.

Which are none of the issues in that delve. You are only given a breath bar, that’s comparable with the other delve features like the candle.

I don’t know, they only seem annoying on bosses. If you right click the buff you place it on the ground and it doesn’t shrink and you’re free to pull the mobs into the circle.

Doesn’t really work for mages though. I have to kite - and not only does that not allow me to drop it, moving it even shrinks it. It’s a bit of a struggle, but not insurmountable. It’s fine.

Ye, that’s what I said.

It’s just the under water theme. Don’t like it. Did you know that arachnaphobia is an ailment that affect about 3% of the population, while the fear of being under water affects around 40%?
They added a arachnaphobia filter, but still makes us go under water.

Seems in keeping with the times though, we cater to the minority, and cancel anyone who compains.

I like underwater zones, Sinkhole seems one of the easier delves i think, Vash’jir was awesome, i also think it was the main reason i got realm first warlock back in cata and you should see my habitat in Subnautica

If you can handle the Zelda OOT Water Temple, this Delve would be no trouble for any of you.

I REALLY REALLY don’t like the water blur effects whatever its called ingame.
Can barely tell the distance of mobs from me.

This delve solo is fine, ish. In a group, it feels horrible. Air being a contested resource, AoE taking the whole room and finally, some crap pulling people off the edge and killing them - I don’t know what even is that.
When it comes to the underwater theme - barely anyone liked Vashj’ir and Blizzard hasn’t made anything similar since. This xpack has a lot of Cataclysm vibes, but not everything was universally liked.
