In my 18 years of wow it is often negativity that gets the attention but I am having so much fun in this content update, I just had to spill appreciation.
I just finished the campaign and the Gallagio lawyer quest and looking back at the patch as a whole I absolutely love it. Understandable, the vibe might not be for everyone but the zone, the quests, the story, the raid and everything around this content patch is just so well put together and engaging.
I’m really appreciative of all the work en creative inspiration gone into this one and I truly hope Undermine will have a big part in the story to come in the foreseeable future!

EDIT: And the music, I forgot to mention the music. It’s been literally years that I actually turned on the ingame music while playing.
While people seem to be split on Undermine, it is IMO objectively one of the most fitting settings and does the entire lore of the Goblins a good amount of justice, it´s really more or less exactly what most of us versed in it expected. I don´t personally spend that much time there, but when I am there I generally find it enjoyable…
Would I want to spend all day there every day? God hell no, but that holds true for literally every other zone they´ve ever introduced with the possible exception of OG Nagrand.
And whether one enjoys the activities and setting is one thing, but I feel that it cannot be simply ignored that both are for the most part at least somewhat novel and refreshing.
The only thing I find somewhat concerning is that I now find myself agreeing with Erevien… (just kidding, bro, I like this new approach you´re taking)
I think what really drove (pun very much intended) the “This is all for the lulz, stop taking everything so seriously FFS” point home was when after clearing the first bit of trash in the raid you heard this loud engine revving up, then teh screeching tires, and suddenly 3/4 of the raid just gets kersplattered by the boss drifting into the room.
I don´t think I´ve laughed that hard in years, same goes for my raidteam.
I haven’t had the chance to spend as much time in game as I’d like because my PC is vastly outdated and the latest patch has taken its performance toll, but everything I have experienced and seen has been SO good. I sponged up every inch of Mechagon and when I sort my PC out Undermine will be the same too.
The goblin hotrod has been something I’ve wanted since Cataclysm and the DRIVE system is so much fun, I’m really hoping we get this outside of Undermine eventually as the race fantasy of being a gobbo in your gassed up ‘rod drifting around is cool af.
