I can just see it now, it will be like my local TESCO car park, full of people ooohing and aahing over their junkers with the chrome pineapple shooter for an exhaust that they think revving at a traffic light makes people think they’re driving a muscle car.
Except it will be in Dorngal as they race round and round the blacksmithing building.
I wonder if people can have car accidents with DRIVE? Will we see random PvP after someone hits someone’s car?
I’d laugh if Blizzard made you have to pay 10k to have a year long insurance policy. if you didn’t pay up the game would automatically dismount you if you tried to use the car and stop you from using any mounts for 30 minutes.

Wow had cars and motorised vechiles since goblins and gnomes, even helicopters in vanil. Its no different to any gnome tech either like their mount. The goblin car is wow stuff, its goblin and gnome themed stuff. They could build a mechanical chicken since vanil some car is piece of cake for them 
I am really exited for this. For the whole patch.to be honest.
It will be quite a while till we get the next tech focused patch so I will enjoy this one
Its true, wish we had bigger role on engineering like we used to, useful and seen everywhere. Atleast this is something in the theme, goblin and gnome engineering 
It’s not about the vehicle. That part is fine with me. It’s about the gameplay.
I don’t play WoW to play a racing game with those types of mechanics.
I hate racing games. I hate games like GTA.
That’s what I’m talking about when I mean ‘WoW things’. 
The issue for me is that they don’t consider the motion sickness aspect when they make stuff like this and then we have to wait for them to resolve things.
Oh well, I see it as addition to the whole theme of mechanics from gobos and gnomes and even dwarves 
I got bit bored with the dragons and whatever theme shadowland were and the new earthen dwarves were not to my liking at all, Im happy to go questing in the coming goblin zone it will finally be some theme that interest me more than the last 2 expansions as whole

I see it as putting a completely different game into another game.
If someone loves playing tennis, you don’t make them kick a football around in their matches trying to score goals too. The whole notion is stupid imo.
If I can ignore it, it’s fine.
But I fear that Blizzard will do what they have done historically: Force us into this system.
I really REALLY don’t want such a system to become the new standard for ground mounts. So I hope DRIVE fails miserably.
If you mean the racy thing then specify it but still I dont see the issue with it, saying that mechanical things wouldnt be wow however would be wrong

You jumped to a wrong conclusion here. I never said or implied any such thing.
It was very clear I was talking about the DRIVE feature.
In fact; yesterday you and I had an exchange where we both shared our like for goblin stuff. So why should I have an issue with their technology? 
Its a goblin car theme thread but we also spoke of next patch in general and its themes as its linked to same tech and theme. And I saw people spoke to not have interest on cars or racing and general statement that this is not wow. These mechanical chickens and rockets and helicopters and gnome ingenuity have been part of wow since vanil.

Theres a car even in kezan that people drive around, I really dont see the issue in this being added in game, and ppl been riding mechanical chickens with build far more complex than cars since the dawn of vanil through gnomes

I hate and don’t want the DRIVE feature. It has game mechanics that I do not want in WoW. It is NOT a WoW thing.

Well, I dont know about problem but as its forum and I have right to answer peoples posts on it, if I see someone say something which I disagree with I can also reply to it. You said you want “wow stuff” well I think this is wow stuff. I think driving vechiles is part of wow so I dont agree with that statement that this wouldnt be “wow stuff”
