Some of these underwater mounts are really beautiful, I love the Tidestallion, but you rarely use them outside of cata, it’s kind of a waste. My idea was to add mount equipment that let’s you use these on land.

Well we have a flying Goldfish and a flying Jellyfish, and flying horses - so why not

With underwater pets out in the open world they just put them in a bubble, they could do the same for the underwater mounts.

Funny that I was a bit mad the other day about the fact that i never get to use my seahorse… This is a great solution!
Aquatic mounts can be used/fly in Nazjatar (It’s an upgade you can buy with enough rep I think). I don’t think we had any flying aquatic mounts back in BFA, now we have the ZM jellyfish, the spectral ottuk and the magic fish.
Personally I don’t see a problem with that, though if it happens they need to make waverays aquatic, it’s kinda dumb that they aren’t nowadays.
