Can somebody explain why almost all UH DKs that I see around play dual wield and not 2h? Was it like that on Original WOTLK? And if not, did Blizz changed something and now people are taking advantage of it? I really like DK, but it looks so ugly with dual wield, and I never played UH like that.
When I check guides that people made 14 years ago on OG Wrath, there was no guide with DW Unholy DK.
So I am really confused now.
I presume it has something to do with auto attacks.
Doesn’t dks generate runes with autos or smth
It looks better for transmog.
Originally it was a hybrid frost unholy build that dual wielded, then yes most DK damage builds were 1h based in wrath. There was a 2H DPS blood ARP single target build people tried for a while though but it kinda faded away.
You can dual wield unholy? Huh.
