I’ve been trying to spawn the special Army of the Dead mob to unlock the secret appearance for Apocalypse, but after many hours of trying (by using both Army of the Dead and Apocalypse abilities) in the proving grounds, it never appeared.
Can anyone confirm that spawning that special mob in the pre-patch is possible? Or have the talent and spell change inadvertently broken it?

If it says true then you can just go there, he has already spawned for you.

I’ve been using the script to see if the mob didn’t spawn for my in raid or dungeon, but it didn’t. What I’m wondering is whether it’s possible to spawn it in this patch at all.
I might just be remarkably unlucky, but it seems odd that it wouldn’t spawn after so many attempts.

I have tried for the last week or so to get the extra Add to spawn, which is exceptionally long, considering on my Horde DK I got it randomly while leveling.
I think it might be broken, but I only have limited information, mainly that a Youtube Guide is currently claiming that this is broken, but I cant verify where they got that information from.
Can I ask someone, how to unlock the hidden class hall set appearance?
I dont know about Hidden Class Hall Set Tints, but if you’re talking about the Artifact Appearance you just have to use Apocalypse/Army of the Dead until you spawn a special Minion that drops a journal, then go to ICC and look for a trapdoor in Professor Putricides Arena and fight the Boss in the Area it leads to.
undless you want the base hidden appearance, you can also unlock frost or blood hidden appearance and unlock the other 3 colors and you will also have all the other colors for unholy unlocked including the weapon itself except the base color.
this is neat for some appearances that are just super hard to get
