It’s time. Would bring a lot of appeal to this forgotten race
Yes!
Unhunched Forsaken NOW! -but- only if they’re not bigger then normal humans!
Normal sized Human models for Forsaken! Current hunched Forsaken should be smaller then Humans, let the straight back Forsaken be Human sized as it should be!
If the orcs can do it, the forsaken can. The forsaken don’t even have nervous systems to account for, just stretch that spine right out and boom, easy!
“Preserve the hunch” - people that like it.
I don’t understand why they think the option would go.
Give us the chance to be tall and proud!
The whole 2 of them world wide*
*my personal research, which is based on no preferencial research…!
The Desolate Council will give us a new allied race:
Forsaken that can stand tall, BUT you have to be Lightforged.
The monkey’s paw clenches hard.
Generally more body options across the board would be cool (or, god, just a bare minimum height slider) but giving a straightened up option for the Forsaken is definitely one that I could actually see achieved, given some NPC-only poses already have them stand like that.
Forsaken in general need some serious touch-ups in terms of customization, but I don’t really care for unhunched forsaken, given how weird the model looks when you unhunch them (unless we’re talking about a model like Nathanos’) - but it’d be cool if they added things like black metal themed war paints, facial hair, and generally better hairstyles.
Make that 3
Considering that Blizzard hates making Forsaken leaders who actually look like Forsaken, they would actually look a lot more like the characters who rule over them if Blizzard just gives them the human model but with pallid skin tones and eerie glowing eyes.
Or Blizzard could consider making more Forsaken leaders who actually look like ruined and wretched corpses instead of attractive humans with an unhealthy pallor.
I’d prefer this. I am not necessarily against the current Desolate Council but what inspired me to play the Forsaken in the first place was their grimness, their “ugliness” (both physical and perhaps metaphysical too), the gothic decay and decadence. I guess I’m somewhere in the vast crowd of three who prefer the hunched, the “look what the cat dragged in” gutter-style.
Forsaken leaders who look like attractive humans with an unhealthy pallor are the minority these days.
After an intense backlash against Calia Menethil, which I suspect is the main reason why we got the Desolate Council (which contains the few “important” Forsaken who were still left alive) instead of just getting Queen Calia.
Even then, some of the writers seem to be a little confused, as some of the quests in Gilneas do refer to her as a queen.
It’s possible that it’s more of a formality, referring to her previous lineage/bloodline as a Menethil rather than as an all-encompassing ruler of the Forsaken? Either that, or they wrote the reclamation of Gilneas before the creation of the Desolate Council, included Lillian as a helper NPC against the Scarlets and any mentions of Calia as the queen are remenants of that older build? Those would be my best guesses.
Or they were always going to bring the Desolate Council back.
It refers to her as a queen which by all rights she is, but it doesn’t refer to her as the Queen of the Forsaken / Lordaeron.
Except that for the course of eight years since Legion’s launch, Calia’s entire plot has been about her rejecting her lineage, and very vocally so at that, all the way until recently.
Regardless of inconsistencies, let’s not make yet another forsaken related conversation into the 4891st discussion about why Calia good or bad.
I mean, we did get Dark Ranger customisation options after they became irrelevant so I guess judging by how obliterated the Forsaken have been lately, you might be on to something.
True and real.
I agree. She’s bad.
I mean, I’ve read it before in a response.
But more costumization options would be fantastic. A height and width slider would make for a more diverse and fun experience. Not only for the Forsaken though.
I’m sure that the hardcore roleplayers would even pay money for that option.
While this would be nice, I have my doubts. They would have to rework models and even appearances I think, so I have my doubts that would ever happen, or it would be lazy and not done well.
