So, this topic has been around before I can imagine, but I can’t find a decisive answer on it.
Why is the Unidentified Cooking Utensil (and the Spider Splatter Mace) not transmogabble?
Is it wrong to want to hit someone with a frying pan?
Can’t see anything wrong with it, seeing as I can go around dual-wielding a dead fish, and in 8.2 I’ll be doing it in my underwear.

But somewhere, at Blizzard, someone is going “That’s perfectly a-OK. But don’t you dare make a chef’s transmog and transmog that off-hand (or main-hand) into a frying pan to hit enemies with it!”
I really hope we can finally get an actual answer to why these items (Unidentified Cooking Utensil, Cookie’s Tenderizer, Spider Splatter Mace, …) are not transmoggable.
