Hi, I tried to search this in this forum and on the internet in general and I am not finding the answer.
I have Exalted with Voldunai and have all quests done, but I want to play with my friends on the Alliance side with my main, so I would faction change it.
The question is, will I be able to unlock it using an alt later since I have already the achievements for the Exalted and the quests? Or the requirements say I must have the toon still on horde when it comes?
Can I transfer my toon to alliance now or must I stay in Horde until they come to unlock the Vulpera allied race and then I can faction change?
Thank you!
I have the same question, and couldnt find the answer any where, i know it was possible for other allied races on the past, but it would be nice to have some clarificatioin
You can do different parts with different characters. I swapped over an Alliance character who was exalted with the BfA reps and it translated to the Horde equivalents. When I then swapped it back to Alliance, the āExaltedā requirement stays completed.
You DO need a 110 Horde character to actually āunlockā the new allied race once the requirements are met, but other than that you can get most of the requirements from any character from either side.
You may get away with using a Class Trial character to do the unlocking, but take that with a pinch of salt because Iāve never tried it.
This is what Iām speaking of, but of the new races, and whether theyāll be different (I donāt see why), I couldnāt say.
The old allied races from Legion they have the same rep on both factions, which means I would still have exalted after faction change.
But if I do the faction change now, I will āloseā my rep with Voldunai and get the equivalent one on the alliance side.
While I think you are correct, I was a bit afraid of losing my grinding effort and not be able to unlock the vulpera later on with another toon that I left on the Horde.
This used to be possible, but was silently patched a long time ago.
Source: I tried it some months ago after hearing it had been a thingā¦

I think i would ask a gm or something just to be sure
Yeah, donāt take my word for it. Iād hate it if my ill-informed advice were to ruin it for you. Sinaakiās is sound advice. A GM is your best bet for a definitive answer, and the solution to problems you may face along the way.
Do NOT ask a GM.
They use the info they have which is subject to change.
Wait it out and do in in 2 months when they are out.
As opposed to what, information thatās subject to no change? It doesnāt exist.
Iāve read more than enough stories here of people being told stuff from a ticket and have it completely back fire later on.
Such as
If youāre throwing that kinda stuff around, I presume you have examples?
I donāt remember what they were.
You donāt have to trust me.
Just also be aware that anything they say based on future content can easily be changed at any point and be rendered invalid.
They could change it so that if OP race changed tomorrow they no longer have the horde character and it doesnāt count.
Then Iām pretty sure nobody is interested.
And Iām pretty sure no one gives a crap what you think either

The difference being, Iām not the one trying to convince anyone anything.
Iām saying to not trust what they say as fact.
It can change at any time after they get told it.
I know, what Iām saying is why should anyone trust you instead?
I mean, even if their information is flawed, itās still infinitely more informed than your opinion, no?
and you get to hold that opinion.
Just know their info is no more advanced than wowhead.
I opened a ticket, even if they give me the wrong answer, I will have the right to complain directly to them.
I believe it will work fine because of the achievements, but some opinions can be good to help me decide.
Waiting for the answer in the ticket, maybe up to 48 hours.
Peace guys
