Blizz, can you at the very least provide some info about whether it will be unlocked at all or not before WotLK release? The class I want to main for WotLK is the one stuck on another server, and I can level or boost a new character of that class on Firemaw if you just confirm it will stay locked. HOWEVER, if I boost or level a new character of the same class, and THEN you proceed to unlock Firemaw, I’m sure you understand how frustrating that would be. I’d prefer an urgent opening of transfers over all, but just a small post regarding your plans would be more than great at this point. Just please stop ignoring us. It probably sounds like a cliché, but we players really do pay your salary. Thank you.

I’ve said this before.

Now the server is way smaller then before, but yea, they’re most likely still waiting to see how many that does return before they decide on open up or not.

That’s what you read in to it maybe.

In reality that nothing but a standardized mass answer anyone would get asking things with keywords like Firemaw and transfer.

I do find it quite astonnishing how many there seems to be that are willingly just waiting to throw their money at Blizzard…
And you wonder why they pull stunts like this.

That’s the thing, i have 4 lvl 70s on firemaw and the reminding of my alts are stuck on a dead server like Ashbringer, and Blizzard does not replay on a single request.
Let us bring alts there, we are paying for this service whats the issue?
SIMPLE: Allow people to transfer there if they have lvl 70 on that server!!!

Are only character transfers disabled for Firemaw, or is also the creation of fresh new lv 1characters (and boosting them) disabled for Firemaw?

Only transfer, you can create a lvl 1 char (even if you dont have allready a char on Firemaw)
