Yes economy is crazy bad here, items which worth 70 80s in other servers, worth 10s in Lone Wolf. Please open Living Flame and make Lone Wolf better again.
We know blizzard cant do anything against bots, yea yea they are banning 4244234 bots after 1month so they earn enough profit to buy 43242343244234 accounts.
Just open Living flame so please send some bots there. Literally there is no item to farm properly. Even phase2 items are overfarmed thanks to bots.
How about they lock Lone Wolf as well, so 2 servers have no bots, instead of spreading them around ?
This will cause huge problems, people will qq and this might cause quits. Directly negative profit for blizzard.
They need to keep one of the big server open so people can play. Because of the streamer hype many people didn’t notice but while Living Flame 80k players Crusader Strike has 20k, when they realize they are baited, they will move within 1 2 months. Not only this popularity will drop, Cataclsym will drop, HC SF mod will drop, they will fail on runes etcetc. So people will move to bigger servers.
Well okay. Then announce that you’re locking Lone Wolf in 2 weeks, so everyone has a chance to make a character there, and then lock it and do a bot ban wave. After a month do a FCM from Living Flame and Lone Wolf to a third server where new players came to play, and then lock it as well after a month. There you have it - 3 servers with no bots.
Bro the point you don’t understand aim is not removing bots compeltely. Maybe you don’t know but bot are also paying same subscription with you. Do you think they want to lose 20% of profit ? We need to think company profit here too. Imagine going meeting with shareholders and saying this.
-we did something good and players are happy, but we lost couple of million dollars profit and total (seen) playerbase is dropped.
do you want to explain this to shareholders? as soon as you complete this sentence, you notice that HR already filled the forms and you lost your job
Okay, explain to me then why they banned all bots on Living Flame if they don’t want to lose profit ? There were as many bots as on every other server on Living Flame at the start of the season.
I can explain as a person who knows many discord with full of bots users/gold sellers. They are saying that Blizzard bans bots around 20days 45days (depends on your luck) so you always get enough profit to buy same or more account to continue that and if I know this as a random guy know on internet, probably someone in billion dollar company is also aware about this.
They know that bots will came back, maybe more accounts will be created.

what i don’t understand is, why so many bots? how can this be a juicy business? WoW classic isn’t that popular, not even 1 million real players in EU
what is the real Classic pop in EU? 100’000 players?
Yes you are right but I can list the reasons.
Because wow gold sells good and fast. Why?
1- Average age is higher than many online games, So you can find many 30+ years old player in this game. They are working so they can afford to buy gold easily. And many 9-5 workers logic is I work hard so I deserve to buy gold and have fun in game.
2- The game is also popular in area like dubai etc. For them buying 10k gold is like buying gum so good market, nice opportunies.
3- Also blizzard games suitable environment for them. Game is not free to play so bots are not compeltely enemy for blizzard etc etc.
So many reasons.
aaaaah ok
full of paradox because it result by less real fun…
Very very stupid logic, but they think like that. I am not sharing my ideas just telling you why it is popular among RMT dudes.
they are training to be Cyborgs
Sad part is this could be prevent with few effort but I don’t think they even try. They knew that they are completely fine. This is why “Wow Job” is very popular among people who lives countries with low income. For example earning 200-300 dollar is easy with wow job but not easy with real jobs in many countries. Also this 200-300 dollars is very very valuable for them. They pay their rent or they buy monthly grosceries etc.
ok so it’s really full of paradox, because, having a computer+internet+sub is a “privilege”
who got what? i don’t really want to know
thanks for the infos
Just wanted to be clear, wow not requires crazy pc, internet is also not really privilege in 2024 even in these countries, but sub is. You can think sub as an invesment, and you get profit over it etc etc.
No problem good night ^^

with all that said in the “cold war of gold” statement of the game, i don’t understand why people hardly disagree for some QoL ingame
i want 25% stun resist for Dwarves
dwarf shamans and UD paladins too
WOTLK’s gear change tool
Why is that a bad thing?
To me it means that doing quests and looting is more valuable, without the need to excessively farm for anything. There is also less gold lost in AH fees. You can’t hit the jackpot by selling something, but you don’t need much to buy stuff either.
Outside bots, the community has a certain gold per hour. The only way for someone to get ahead is take it from others. Either said person is willing to be poor (in favor of power I guess), or its sole purpose is to generate gold to be pumped into the economy - which is bots do.
(It is easy to see on BC and Wrath servers where high level characters earn much more gold per hour, and merrily invest it. While in SoD my main revenue is vendor loot, in WLK it can be auctions. Both now and during my 2009 loremastership.)
Disclaimer: I don’t particularly respect auction house magnates. They’re just taking hard earned wealth for themselves by exploiting other players.
By the way, this is exactly what happens on a fresh server. I purchased 2s bags instead of 5s ones from vendor because I couldn’t afford the latter. Auctions barely above vendor price are the same thing, everyone peeking to sell but not having the funds to buy. In an awkward twist, items being cheaper would be a sign of less bots / RMT.
