To unlock Oribos on my alts do I have to do that Maw intro on every single one of my alts ? I have 3 alts that I just want to get to Oribos and learn the new professions .
Hmmm, possibly, but in every other expansion you could select āI have heard this story beforeā and skip the into, at some point at least. Should happen in SL too. Maybe if you do it on one character the others can skip it.
Well Iāve done the questline on this char, got it to 60, but thereās no option to skip the maw on alts ā¦

That would be annoying i think because first 1-2 hours were just talking over and over again a got first kill like on lvl 51 ā¦weird for alts 100%
I hope we can skip it, otherwise my alts will be stuck at 50.
That was the worst introduction questline Iāve ever done. The levelling experience was fine after that, but that adventure in the maw really put a downer on things.
I liked the Intro quest in Maw, but I would also like to skip it on my alts. IMO WoD intro quest was more horrible and had the same talk - cutscene - walk - talk - cutscene - walk like Maw now has

Well at least you get a whole level while doing it.
There is a āThreads of Fateā alt catch-up mechanic to allow non-linear progression on altsā¦not sure if that will count the Maw intro or not.
Well the maw intro isnt that long i dont see the problem tbh
You access that when you get to Oribos, and to get to Oribos you have to do the Maw intro, so it doesnāt really help, as I donāt want to level the alts, just to get them to Oribos to learn professions.
I can see it now, just wait for the complaints about āI chose āāthe threads of fateāā and I want to go backā

Iāve taken two alts to Oribos and had to do the whole maw intro bit again. Grabbed prof training and parked them up.
In the recent ones, yes, but usually not right at the start. If you are smart about it, the intro takes 30 minutes tops, which is a good way at the start of an expac to gate the number of characters who can access the new areas.
If you want your alts to go gatheringā¦do the intro. Iāve done it on 3 characters so far and its fine. Iāll be doing it on another 10 or so this weekend.

It sounds like youāll be having much the same weekend as me! It was faster with each alt though or at least appeared to be as I tabbed out during the npc conversations. Rogues can lockpick the cages during the Anduin bit so that all went really fast for that alt instead of farming the keys.

While that is true, you still get a lot by doing main and sidequests. You can hit 53 without the first level by the end of Bastion if you do both types of quests going by the rate I have my xp now. Iām done with bastion and at 54 and 50% xp bar. Levelling after skipping for alts shouldnāt be an issue.
Alright. I am actually fine with that intro, idk why people dislike it. Maybe I will get tired of it when I do it on 5+ alts.
