Have you actually read this thread, at all? I’m not complaining about the races. I like them. That’s why I want to unlock them. I’m saying that the whole process around unlocking them is terrible.
Yes, and I dont agree, cause you have level 70 and can speedrun it without the need of reaching exalted.
The only thing I can possible say that you hve to do it on both sites once.
I have to agree.
It was much worse back in the days when reaching exalted was mandatory. In particular, the BFA ones like Zandalari. By the time I was done I was exhausted and tired of the Zandalari already. (It took 1 month and a week)
The rep grind was eventually removed, and I’m thankful. But I still think it’s unnecessary especially towards new players.
unlocked them at the time myself, they should just be unlocked for everyone it’s just a scam at this stage to make people buy race swaps and boosts.
Generally speaking Kul Tirans and Zandalari require more to unlock because they were the most prominently featured races of the expansion. So in Blizzard’s mind they probably wanted to give them some prestige by being the hardest to unlock.
It is a regular thought that old zones should stay relevant.
That’s where Guild Wars 2 wins big time. People still focus recent content because for active players that’s the new thing, but for people catching up (experiencing it all) or veterans for added variety once bored with the latest, it’s great. (Also, this way there are people in old zones, people join up, like in an MMO.)
Zones could scale to max level, maybe as an option for those who want to oneshot and some XP restrictions if leveling is to be done in the most recent, because it’s more skillful or something. (It’s not. Achievements and reputation requirements could take care of it.)
You can solo Islands now. Just speak with Flynn and there should be an option to do it alone. I tried it once just to see.
You don’t need the dungeons anymore, there is a skip option in the NPC’s dialogue options.
That’s so strange. Do you need to have the full zone explored for the world quests to show up? I’ve checked multiple times, tried logging on/off, reloading UI. I have no world quests in any of the Zandalar zones. And again, this is after unlocking Loremaster of Kul Tiras and doing the quest line to rescue Jaina from Thros.
E: And also doing all of the war campaign quests possible. I’ve established the footholds in all of the Zandalar zones and then my progression has stopped dead.
I think it depends on what Blizzard view as the purpose of Allied races. If they are:
- Options to create more diversity among played characters, in which case I think they should be more easily available.
OR
- Options that are more rare and show that you either played at a certain time of the game or put effort to unlock them later.
Personally view 1 as the better option, but ultimately if you want to play one of them, currently it might be faster to just get the requirements rather than expect Blizzard to remove them anytime soon.
I really can’t remember exactly, although I’m rather sure you need to talk Halford Wyrmbane once you have the required quests. You could try this: see if you have the flightmaster’s whistle for Kul Tiras and Zandalar in your backpack. If you don’t, then you most likely have to speak with Halford, but if you have, it must be an error that needs assistance from the Customer Service. Both the world quests and the whistle should be rewards for the same quest, this one:
Uniting Kul Tiras - Quest - World of Warcraft (wowhead.com)
EDIT: no, I’m rather sure you don’t need to have the whole zones explored for world quests to show up, they’re just related to a quest chain as far as I know
Have you done the ship build quest? Youbtalk to a retired shipbuilder and must do some stuff to get it done (you also need to find a crew for the ship). I do believe you cab start that quest chain after getting the necessary achievs
There should be rewards for players that have completed certain content. So allied races are just that - a reward for content completion. People had to grind those reputations and now people just want them unlocked without any effort. Is it fair?
Back when they released them, people had already done the grind because it was already old content.
I’m on a fresh account since none of my account wide stuff is actually account wide(which is annoying in itself, blizz, fix please), I have none of my allied race unlocks.
I want to play a kul tiran alt, but the grind is more than I want to do.
So no allied races for me.
I would be very worried about returning/new players
If blizz will not remove Pathfinders for everyone
Because we still cannot fly BFA zones without pathfinders
unlock requirements for iska plague maw rat is abysmall too… ;/
I’m sorry, this is confusing. You’re looking for 7th legion world quests in zuldazar exclusively? You have the 3 kul tiras zones, the 3 zandalar zones, darkshore, arathi that you can grind reputation from. Also I thought that the reputation requirement was gone? If not there are many ways to get 7th legion rep.
If world quests are completely unavailable to you make sure you do the uniting kul tiras quest that unlocks world quests. Way it sounded though, you do have them?
Flynn offers the solo queue option.
We know.
So,you didnt pay to buy the expansions, you didnt pay for subscription in those expansions, you didnt play and got rep in the expansions…
…and you want to have easy what others paid and played to get them?
Cool story brotha!
I wish they were all just a quest line now with no other requirements. It’s awful sending people back when it’s no longer current content
Atleast you don’t have to rep grind anymore.
