I understand what you mean but technically Affliction is dampening. If they get back to dampen meta Affliction will some again.
I either speak a different English than you do or the way you write is a bit weird.
I have multiple duelist titles throughout BfA and SL with all the specs (Demo, Dest and Aff) and one Elit title with Demo. So while my “exp” of the class is prob. not near as good as others, that is a skill issue, not a matter of lack of understanding of the class.
You doing an ad hominem is just a desperate attempt at avoiding the rational arguments. Facts are simple, between Dest and Demo;
- They have the same level of tankiness and self-heals,
- Their level of control is ONLY slightly different in favor of Demo (Dest can double or triple coil, it has purge, its kick is on a shorter cooldown, has Infernal for AoE stun where as Demo can ST coil, a stun on a 30 sec cd, a 1 min kick cd and another ST stun on a 2 min. CD),
and most importantly, Dest as of now is way more better at dishing out damage while kiting.
It seems you are not used to the changes DF brought. Demo USED to be the control spec pre-DF, now its not. The only “control” factor it has over others is the stun; which i wouldn’t say is better than a double or triple coil, its just on par. And the nerf on call felhunter is very significant. All in all, considering it no longer holds an advantage over Dest with Soul Link too, it definitely is not in a good place and definitely not a better “control” spec than Dest is.

I have no troubles understanding anything on my demo, i alrdy were successful on it 2 week ago for the goal i had to get duelist like ive been in past also and on other expansions way down the line to tbc
