With the rollout of the quest in Dornogal to award every player with their 4th Fractured Spark (2 full Sparks), I have been unable to obtain the weekly Fractured Spark. Running the script prompts me with having obtained 1 of 2 for the week. Support cannot help. I have opened 7 pinnacle caches (1 was gifted to me by support), done a full normal raid, and somewhere around 15 keys. Support is telling me to just report the bug, but I’m hoping this issue can be resolved as being permanently behind on half of a Spark is very frustrating.

Very frustrating, this bug is affecting my Death Knight, which is my main, but not affecting my Paladin.
My Death Knight is currently sat on 3 Fractured Spark of Fortune.
My Paladin is currently sat on 5 Fractured Spark of Fortune.
Opened a Pinnacle Chest today on both, my Death Knight did not receive one whereas my Paladin did.
My Death Knight is my main character, I struggled last week to be rewarded the 4th Fractured Spark of Fortune - thought not a lot of it, people were running around with two crafted pieces, no big deal at all I thought “I’ll just catch up on Wednesday 19th”.
On my Death Knight, I’ve gone to complete a Weekly Quest which rewards a Pinnacle Cache - expecting to receive a Fractured Spark of Fortune, however I did not receive one. My character is still stuck on 3. Very worrying.
On my Paladin, which is my alt, I actually had no issues getting the 4th Fragment, one ahead of my main which is annoying, but I was expecting this to be balanced out this week.
Seeing this quote on the Blizzard Support Article:
" * Players who were able to obtain two extra sparks will not receive a spark on week 3, starting March 18 - If you are in this situation, your Pinnacle Cache will not drop a spark this week and this is intended"
I wasn’t expecting to receive a Fractured Spark of Fortune on my Paladin this week either. However, just as a test, I did the exact same world quest, my Paladin is now sat on FIVE Fractured Spark of Fortune. Two ahead of my main.
Other guild members are also reporting being on 5 Fragments. My Death Knight is on 3.
I have checked EVERYTHING on my Death Knight, bags, bank, reagent bag, reagent bank, Custodian Khubon does not have a quest (I accepted both quests on both characters).
What is even stranger still, I ran the /run script which reports back how many items you’ve looted of the Fractured Sparks on my Death Knight yesterday before reset, this reported back as “You have looted 2 of 2”.
I run the exact same thing today and both characters report back saying “You have looted 3 of 3”. My Death Knight DID NOT receive one today.
This does not make sense, my Death Knight should be on 5 Fractured Sparks of Fortune as my Paladin.

[Edited] We’re currently investigating the issue where the quest A Sparkling Fortune may take more than 1 Fractured Sparks, which can result in missing Fractured Sparks overall.
While game masters are unable to restore these Sparks manually at the moment, we hope to have more updates to share with you soon.
The current limit should be 5 fractured, for the week of March 19.

Agree, this should not have been merged.
This issue above is about receiving the 4th Fractured Spark last week (Week commencing 12th March).
Whilst my main character also did not receive a 4th Fractured Spark last week (yet my alt did), this week my main has not received the 4th OR 5th Fractured Spark - leaving it now TWO behind my main, despite completing the exact same set of tasks on both.

Coldsoju - You’ve received 4 Fractured Sparks since the season started, and you’ve used 2 Sparks to craft a Halberd. You haven’t done the weekly quest so far, and did not open any Pinnacle Cache.
Girbonk - You’ve obtained 2 Sparks so far, and created a staff.
Saltypeach - You’ve used 1 Spark, currently have 1 Fractured, and haven’t completed the weekly quest, or opened a cache this week.

Hello all,
I have the same Problem, i had 2 Fractured Sparks in my bag and turned in “A Sparkling Fortune” at Custodian Khubon, which takes 1 Fractured Spark and gives you 2. After this Quest i had still 2 Two fractured Sparks in my bag, it should have been 3. It seems that the quest took both Fractured Sparks and gives 2 back.
I had contacted the support which cannot help me, because they are not allowed to add items. so far so good, I reported the Bug and I started into this week did my weekly quests (i did all weekly actitivities so far!!) and didn’t get my Fractured Spark of this current week. At all i have 3 Fractured Sparks so far, there are 5 acutally…
It seems, that the bugged turn in of “A Sparkling Fortune” bugged my whole character in case of any Fractured Sparks.
Please blizzard, investigate what happened here, it is an extreme disadvantage over the whole season and especially now, as a complete Spark is missing.

I have a very sneaky feeling this is exactly what has happened with my character.
I didn’t actually play my DK in the first week, and I definitely only accepted the quest for an additional Fractured Spark in week 2. I never checked my bags during this time but its highly likely that the quest did trade in 2, and gave me back 2.
This however, does not explain now why my character does not receive a weekly Fractured Spark from the Pinnacle Chest, making it two behind my alt.

Just want to confirm, quickly blasted out a +2 and received no ‘catch-up’ Fractured Spark either, so this character is still stuck on 3 Fractured Sparks total.
Bag addons indicate I have 1 Fractured Spark which makes sense as two were combined and subsequently used to craft a 1-handed weapon. I should have 1 Fractured Spark in my bags and TWO crafted 1-handed weapons at this stage. Blizzard owe me 39 item levels.

I really did all weekly activities and ran 10s/11s and did not receive any fractured spark. Still Stuck on 3 fractured Sparks aswell.
Blizzard really have to dive into this… this bug has a huge impact!
I’m worried about not being able to loot a Fractured Spark next week either.
I can work out why we’re behind 1 if the quest took 2 Sparks like hypothesised and rewarded 2.
I cannot work out why I did not receive one in my Pinnacle Cache today, despite opening the one from ‘Delves: Worldwide Research’ today on my Death Knight.

To be honest… I will not accept to be 1 Full Spark behind my other Chars or other Players which are not affected with this bug…

HI GM i have problem with my char Oshkaz-Stormscale Horde, missing already 2 sparks, didnt get any this week and last week either, please check my charackter and fix this, its horrible to be so far behind compare to other people wtf… and yes i have done all weekly quest/raids/dungeons/delves and khubons extra spark too, still just have 3 fractured!!!

You can see people on the US forums reporting being stuck on 3 Sparks when they should have 5.

I’m sorry, but can we at least have a response also as to why we’re now currently TWO down, instead of only being down a single one as of yesterday?
I absolutely cannot loot one on my main, to take me to at least 4 instead of the expected 5 like my alt character has, and I’m expected to have two crafted pieces for my raid team by now.

I’m not sure that I understand your message, Lyscia. That’s the last response that I posted.
Two separate issues occurring here which is why I disagreed with my post being merged into this one.
You’ve got an issue last week with players being stuck on 3 Fractured Sparks whilst other players were on 4. Likely due to the fact that the above quest mentioned was bugged and ‘eating’ an extra Fractured Spark.
You’ve also got another issue where characters affected by this bug are now unable to loot a single Fractured Spark at all THIS WEEK.
My main was 1 behind last week, now its 2 behind this week.
The ‘currency flags’ however you want to call them are absolutely broken. I can absolutely guarantee you that we will be unable to loot a Fragmented Spark next week also, leaving us stuck on 3 when everyone else progresses on to 6. I’m calling it now. If this happens, I’ll likely also be able to loot one on my alt to bring me to 6 and I’ll be forced to reroll.
