what things will not be possible to get in shadowlands?
For example Mage Tower Appereances for Legion Artifact and mythic transmog from TrialOfValor raid achievement UNOBTAINABLE in BfA
Ahead of the Curve Nzoth achievement and mount
Usual seasonal PvP stuff - Elite Appearences, Vicious Mounts etc.
Keystone Master achievement and mount
Caravan Brutosaur mount (technically not unobtainable, but moved to Black Market Auction House so functionally unobtainable for most of the playerbase)
Rank 4 Azerite Essences I think?
Mythic Jaina and Mythic Nâzoth mounts, while technically still obtainable, will be converted from guaranteed to drop 1-2 per raid to 1% drop chance.
Probably Brawlerâs Guild stuff?

Azerite Essences will probably be removed completely since I expect that HoA will be neutered like the Legion artifacts.

There will still be a way to show off having Rank 4 essences in Shadowlands and beyond, that has been confirmed multiple times. Just like you can show off Artifact Appearences even though artifact weapons are a done system. Essences were initially built up as a Mage Tower-ish feature in regards to long term goals and cosmetic effects, however, since no one cared, that wasnât developed very much.
We do not know exactly how that âshowing offâ will work and, sadly, I suspect the dev team doesnât know either at this juncture. And potentially a bigger question is who gives a flying eff about showing them off. I for one wouldnât be opposed if we all quietly forgot about the promise of Rank 4 essence effects carrying over if it means the dev team can focus more on what actually matters in Shadowlands.
it wont be neutered like legion artifact stuff. its still useful for old content, it will just be weaker and afaik essences will still work for every day content.

So itâs more like the Legendaries from legion, they still work, except for the ones that relied on removed/changed abilities

Hmm, Iâm not sure about this. If the rank 4 essences and the âAzerothâs Championâ title were getting removed in Shadowlands, they would have given us a clear statement by now, as they did for the Challenge Modes and the Mage Tower.
Same thing for the cloak and the visions. Both MoP and WoD legendary questlines were announced for to give people time to get them done before the next expansion.
they were kept removing the legendarys from latests expansions so i suppose legendary cloak and horrific visions + rewards from them are getting removed too
Meaning if you after rank 15 cloak mog might get removed

Iâll be honest, I maybe misunderstood their post but I absolutely donât understand why this would be an issue.
Weâre talking about a 5M gold, unless they give tons of gold next xpack for free like with the legion and wod gold mission then it shouldnât be such an issue.
Even if you can slowly get millions of gold just by playing the game for months on end, few actually do so and keeping the mount shouldnât have been such a bad thing imo.
At least it âforcedâ players to start gold farming in 8.2 and 8.3, which lead to thousands of players buying it this patch, me Included. Thatâs a lot of gold removed from the economy which is overall good for the game, but this doesnât really explain why it should be removed as this gold wouldâve been removed anyway as players slowly earn their long boi.
