Unplayable server lag

Getting freezes of several seconds in retail (everything from a couple of seconds to sometimes ridiculously 10 seconds) while playing. No fps drops. Stable ethernet connection with no issues outside of wow. Can move and cast abilities (I think anyway.) but nothing is updating on my screen, after the lag duration everything happens at once. Toys that cause /yell occur during lag duration while everything else is frozen.

Can it be addons? I don’t run that many and keep them up-to-date, no guarantees of course.

Same problem for 2 weeks. Tried without add-ons. No difference.

Same problem in Hardcore Stitces. Already lost 2 characters because of this.

Experiencing the same problem after today’s issues with logging into the game. Stable connection, no lags or anything otherwise but from time to time it’s like my ping skyrockets and everything freezes. Some of my friends have the same problem, some do not. Yet another Azeroth’s mystery…

Yeah, i got the same problem.
It was like that for some time last week too (lag spikes especially in timewalking dungeons) then it was fixed after weekly maintenance on wednesday.

But yesterday there were big problems with battle.net and since then the problem is back.

I can observe: Lag while trying to send ingame mail, lag while trying to put/take out stuff from the guild bank and most annoying lag spikes in dungeons.

There is a 4400+ ms lag spike that starts from 137.221.80.28 and according to google that is a blizzard ip.

Support for EU servers is going down the drain man, really annoying.

its been brutal, made a post about it that i deleted cuz was losing solos due to hudge lag spikes was so tilted, had to reflex after they had probably a DoS 2 days ago where no one could play any of their games cuz they got hit pretty hard on auth servers, and it seems problem still persists… indie companie what can we expect… think they need to up the subscription € cuz they dont have enough ressources to fight this…

Also having same issue… mainly since reset on wed. Before that, I didnt ever lag like this. Something is wrong. Not fun pushing keys and you freeze for 2-15 sec or raiding and bloodlust popps … you pop everthing and then you doing nothing for 10 sec LOL… happened to me … feels bad.

I have a similar issue time ago. And the solution was update the bios. Seems like in my case for have an old version It caused incompatibility with something in the pc that caused me freezes every 10 seconds and even minimized wow.

Same issue, I thought blizzard would fix such a serious issue alot faster than this x_x
