Upcoming magic dmg nerf is relatively 20%, not 10%

According to wowhead these are the changes.

Tank Physical Damage Reduction Magic Damage Reduction
Blood Death Knight +10% +10%
Vengeance Demon Hunter +5% -10%
Guardian Druid +10% +10%
Brewmaster Monk +10% +10%
Protection Paladin +10% +10%
Protection Warrior +10% +10%

+10% and -10% is 20% spread, plus 5% difference in physical damage. Hold on a second, this means VDH is getting an overall 20% magic dmg taken nerf and 5% physical dmg nerf relative to all other tanks. Does Blizzard even realize what they’re doing? If they nerf one class and buff all others it’s a double nerf. This means after next week VDH is going to take 20% more magic damage relative to other tanks.

Yep, i think Vengeance after this will be at the bottom of tanks. Guardian will be insane with this buff and we will probably see it in +26+27 keys.

For sure not bottom but it will drop 1 or 2 places down.

Edit after reading more about upcoming changes: Or not even that.

I think Demon Hunter will stay the best for kitting, which is a better defensive tool than damages reductions (because you don’t take any when running).

But with this change, others tanks can shine too.

Well yeah thays what the community wants that DH is nerfed like hell. Well i main a druid now so i dont mind but its still is weird why theu even focus on this and not on the pain points of the other tanks. Dh tanks where always at the bottom in previous expansions now they shine and everybody whines about it and hey they are not OP immo.

And Wowhead said the change to the fel defender conduit was a nerf when it was actually a buff. They’ve gone down the path of clickbait, sadly, and nothing gets attention quite like screams of ‘VDH is getting nerfed’.
