When it come to classes and specs certain dps specs require extra attention.
Rets, shadow priests, shamans and monks are in need of very careful and constant attention.
The reason is simple, these classes have unique dps specs, if they are not looked after and balanced, they have no plan B and play another spec of the class. The dev cannot mess it up.
Yet what I have experienced from playing since vanilla, is that playing these specs is akin to playing the lottery. Either you are good enough to earn your raid spot or you are in the gutter. There is no excuse of class buffs that can alieviate this.
I will not even mention the effect pvp has on some specs where some specs are too good in pvp yet completely bad for pve.
Currently havoc is by a big majority seen as a failed design. Many talents do not ever see play, the specs relies only on the unfun momentum whizz about dps builds. It is actually the case that you can be a purple parsing havoc and do less dps than a blue parsing warlock.
The spec needs work.
Momemtum need to be looked at.
Single target need to be looked at (and not just havoc, ww also!)
Dead talents need to be looked at.
Defensive that cannot possibly be taken need to be addressed.
I know this comes out as whiney but I am beyond tired of playing momentum.
I have unsubbed, because despite the massive amount of work done by the devs, three things are not fullfilling my desire to play:
my spec is not good enough, we are a glorified caster buff bot as havoc.
raid bosses are not fun. Mythic Zskarn is crap, sorry, at least make all traps be controlled by tanks. The volcanic heart on echo is bad design, sorry.
Recruting for 20 man raids is a chore, bring back man 10 man mythic raiding or even 15 man. The numbers are just not there to sustain a healthy 20 man raiding scene. (keyword healthy).
Oh by everything that is Holy. Do NOT ever visit that website. Put it on your auto block list. Out of all the websites out there Noxxic is a top contender for being the worst.
Ye thats what I feared. Noxxic is notorious for being wrong on practically everything. Even if they “update” stuff its usually wrong or already outdated information. They also dont explain stuff either properly or at all. It having this popularity is a problem.

Even if I am just a casual player i do like to keep abreast of things.
I play Paladin and have been doing so for a long time.
If I am Meta or not, doesnt make me change profession.
I tried out others, ofcause, Mained BM hunter for the duration of Shadowlands but still come back to my Pallie because I like her the most…

Well, plenty of people dislike DH, especially PvP players.
For PvE it’s different because their existence doesn’t affect you. It doesn’t matter what class your team mates play as long as they’re good enough to clear the dungeon or raid.
For PvP though, when they’re good, it’s awful.
2 button gameplay, high pressure, plenty of tools to deal with all situations, 100% uptime.
And the worst part is, it’s not even an original spec. As I said, it’s just a budget Windwalker.

Leg Sweep > Chaos Nova
Incap > Imprison
Slap an edgy demon skin on top, give it a 2 button builder spender rotation and call it a new class.

I understand you dislike it but you can’t spread such lies.
For me atm is easier playing ret with all the bubbles and is so easy to pick up but I love dh so I stick with no matter what.
You are so far far far off what havoc is currently.
It has one of the most complexe if not the most complexe dps rotation of all classes.
I invite to go check the opening rotation and essb rotation and desync issues of the class before making such as outdated statement about “2 button class”. Each build has a different opening rotation and normal rotation and ST/AOE priorities change the rotation, often depending on the number of add (2 /3 or more).
