Hi , the nerfs for shadow priest at this current state of meta for pvp seems a little unfair in my opinion. (Same thing as shadowlands, super buffs to super nerfs after a while)
Blizzard didn’t only nerfed the survivability of this class but it tend to make us heavy casters again on a really melee season as always when an expansion releases.
That means that you had a robot made of steel and you turned it into pinocchio again.
Make mind flay and/or void torment less channelling time or something like sticking on opponent and does the dmg like DoT thing, seems like a saviour right now because i dont know how many windows shadow priest should have in arena in order to do his job which is damage .(yes not only that but the class has a dmg role )
In a melee season mind flay and void torment requires your arena teammates to always create the room for the shadow priest while he is being trained to the death.
And yes this can be manageable but not every time unless you and your teamates are 2.4k +
The rest of us the casual shadow pr players we can have fun in pve now that it’s buffed.
Devs aren’t playing their game anymore. What is the point to nerfing if they aren’t buffing under-performing specs in pvp.
Did some games today, completely horrible.
0dmg at all ,highest was 30k min spike.
3min games got 3 spike proc.
And basically against double melee (which is every game almost) you are dead 24/7.
Idk the game is currently design to who does the most dmg and they nerf us to the ground while the other do df s3 lvl of dmg.
I guess it’s time for me to really cancel my sub.
Talking about the Solo Shuffle experience:
If you nerf damage then maybe don’t nerf defensive. 5 percent def nerf is GG. Now I have to spec all talent points into def instead dmg to survive and it isn’t enough. Two melees are now a death sentence to you. Previously it was very, very hard to survive. Now it is just impossible. It is now frustrating to play. Now you are left to pray 24/7 to God so your pair finish the target while you getting trained. Totally pure of luck and not skill if you manage to go out for a 1 round win against two melees. I guess Blizzard doesn’t want casuals or semi-hardcore people to pick shadow.
