exactly. back in TBC/WotLK i got my 2 month cards religiously, and when i came back in WoD i went with the 6 month buys cause i liked the game enough to do so.
in the past i would always have a new card ready to load the SECOND my sub ran out. now i let weeks slide by before i bother to buy another one, and i only do 1 month at a time.
I’m relieved about the alt situation. As an alt -holic, I wasn’t entirely keen about the idea of doing the same content over and over again. Really don’t want to end up burnt out.
I don’t particularly care that much either way, if the majority truly hate it then I’m fine if they change it. But first we’d have to determine that’s the case. I also don’t share the pessimism but we’ll just have to see it in action.
The Ripcord types like to act like they speak for everyone though and I don’t care for that.
People who want to be able to swap at all times to optimize for every sort of content instead of making a long term choice specializing
People who are fine making a choice but are concerned they will be excluded from groups over their choice
People who just want to separate aesthetics from player power
It will never “work” for the first group since there’s a fundamental difference of opinion. It might for the second group but it depends on player behavior. The third can be appeased by loosening transmog restrictions and letting characters do every covenant campaign.
That’s why sometimes you gotta say it when people talk about things they dont know about or dont care. Saying “stop worrying” when in fact these choices have a huge impact is just not useful feedback , it just means she doesnt care because she doesnt do the content
? I was just saying that what I said yesterday was right. If you dont care about X content , you won’t respond in the same manner as if you cared. This works for basically every opinion lol
#PullTheRipcord blizz will not act on until mass gigantic amount of feedback on live have happended. They will do it the exact same way in terms of time they took to get azerite essences in 8.2 out. So til then, any feedback that isn’t after expansion has being live for ages. They won’t act a single cent on.
This is the modern blizz we are talking about. They will only act after like 1000000000000000 people have voiced their feedback after the expansion has being out for a huge long time.
In general all opinions are made with the base of :
“I have empathy towards other players”
“I have some knowledge on the topic”
“I am aware that there are at least 3 competitive modes in WoW”
“I don’t split the player base between 1% and 99%”
Someone may forget in his pursuit of desire for his/her voice to be heard, certain facts (or they never knew it). I prefer to correct those as neutrally as possible.
My favorite example is that “top 50 guilds” = “top 1” - there are more than 5k guilds worldwide, which automatically discredits that.
