I guess they can do smth like blizzcon thing, where u can have access only to specific area to test systems. And all the exploration data either encrypted or updated with separate patch
and this solution that they offer is unacceptable. they make us players be away from eachother instead of brining us together by adding more layers ( makes us players be in a empty ghost town world ) in hope it would fix it… good god

Well, helping isn’t solving Their fix is also helping by decreasing the chance, as yours (about layering entire raids) only decreasing the chance of this situation not happening. But yea, any solution is better than just increasing the mob count per layer…
I think there is a misunderstanding, they only increase layer count whenever other layers are about to reach critical mass (usually in prime time), the comment about empty world is about non prime time (i.e at night or in the morning) when otherwise they would have layers retired and players per layer increased, now they wouldn’t do that to not break the % of the event. But yeah gl with doing Ashenvale event after or before prime time after this fix.
Also if u move entire raid from “gg ez win” layer u know what will happen here (as u said they will be annoyed especially on forums) But my guess is, instead of helping, they will disband, and try to get on the “gg ez win” layer. Or, they will help, get rep and try to go back to “gg ez win” layer, to get some wins back to back. The solution will be, that they will have layer hopping cd, but they will still come to forums even about inability to layer switch after being forcibly layered to another layer to help finish the battle.

Would you mind explaining your reasoning behind the fact that you have just made the Ashenvale Event take so much longer, because of a bug you have introduced into the system you came up with, without increasing the Reputation Gain one bit? The fact that you guys can’t keep the events from bugging means the players now have to deal with extremely long wait times and empty layers. Why then, did you not increase the Rep to compensate? It sounds so obvious you would be doing that when you KNOW that the event will take MUCH longer to even start, let alone finish, now.
It really feels like you’re punishing the players for a programming/design error that was made on your part.
this is kinda lame though. you can get merged into a layer where the other faction suddenly surrounds you due to the merge, 2v1s you and you lose the event without counterplay… They should just fire the event on all layers every hour, remove boss invul after 10 mins or all boss kills, and merge / split players after event concludes.

they have should do testing on ptr with premades giving them all runes without the need to discover them… then we wouldn’t have that disaster
I’d like them not to retire the layers merging.
It’s nice to have extra layers cleaned up in lull and I hope they will reconsider with some adjustments, like make it happen only when events are not active and/or off-peak time.
Ashenvale takes forever to get to 100% now on Living Flame
Last event on living flame finished at around 5 pm CET. It’s now 7:22 pm CET and the progress has barely hit 30% in 2 and a half hours. This is unacceptable. This isn’t a solution, you basically just removed the event almost entirely.
Revert it and find a proper fix. If you can do it for hunters (reverting a hotfix, leaving them OP for an extra few days) you can do it for the majority of your SoD population trying to get reputation.
Currently we’re looking at two daily Ashenvale events on Living Flame. And you’re sh*t out of luck if you aren’t online in those moments - reputation wise.
I couldnt care less about the issue, ill do some openpvp in the meantime. Take your time and fix it properly.
So what are you going to do about the broken layering system creating a layer with twice as many alliance vs horde during the Ashenvale event?
And when is the beta testing phase over so you’ll start banning everyone hacking? It doesn’t feel legal to charge people to play a an unofficial beta phase, let alone having to deal with bots and hackers because you can’t be bothered keeping the game clean
Thank you very much for the changes ! It was pretty much impossible to quest on off-peak hours because you could see packed zones like launch , it was kinda apsurd when you want to avoid people and quest in peace in off-peak hours to have more people around than during prime time
