Having issue just right now. Its 350mb, but it taking at least hour out of people’s evening.

Yes. I downloaded on like 30KB/s.
But sometimes it jumped to a normal 20mb/s. So it will take like 15-20min. But you will download it eventually.

yeah, taking ages. I take it they are celebrating the 20 year anniversary with 20 year old downloading times…

Ah it feels like 20 years ago again. You start the update and when you wake up it will be close to being done

And if I remember correctly, it was 1 or 2 weeks ago on Wednesday, that it took about 2-3 hours before he finished…
Unfortunately, there are things that don’t change, they always remain pathetically stupid and that’s it.

Same for me, i was getting high world latency in game, after exiting, launcher started a download that doesn’t seem to progress at all

The initialization completed for me after 45 minutes. Apparently now, the download servers are overloaded. It loads a 511MB patch with 16KB/s with frequent pauses.
Edit: DO NOT pause and resume the download!! This started the whole initialization process again!! What even is this?!

Why are patches like this rolled out on the evening anyway?
