The deviation value takes care of that on its own, the rest is just people moving to where they belong with more games they play, as in any rating system.
Again, no it wouldnât. The rating is only relative to other participants. Better players will rise while worse will fall, as is part of the norm for any rating system.
Iâd give you an example with normal 2s/3s arena:
Letâs say your system is replaced with current one and for losses youâre not taken so much rating. What youâll see in ladder is some random 2.5k gladiator will be the same rating as Whazz/Raiku. BUT this gladiator will have 20% win ratio, while Whazz/Raiku will have 80% win ratio.
Yes you can compare them by win ratio, but not by rating.
If your system will be in soloq what happens is this
Again, no. That wouldnât happen. Then Whazz/Raiku would belong at 19k rating, while the player on 2.5k would be at the bottom of the ladder.
Youâre literally conflating your insane thought of what an increased roof would look like, with how the current system works now.
Which, to be perfectly clear, is all in your head.
Alright, to explain your point in more detail, youâre describing 20% win rate (in other words 1 in 5) to still result in rating gains. Where did I ever say that was a thing?
