Basically on Thursday night, wow would not work for me. I would log in, press play and it wouldn’t do anything or launch anything. It just said “Game Launched” or similar. The Blizz launcher was being really slow and unresponsive as well.
Now I’d like to point out that WoW worked perfectly well on Wedensday night and before hand, never had an issue running it. So went through dozens of guides etc trying to fix it before I tried to unsintall the Blizz launcher. Wouldn’t let me uninstall so had to do it the hardcore way - deleting it from programx86, %LOCALAPPDATA% etc making sure I deleted all folders and temp locations. All fine right? I then tried to reinstall the launcher - and here is my problem.
The installation get’s about 35% then freezes on “Updating Battle.Net Agent”.
I’ve went through everything Blizz has suggested. I’ve ran it in admin, I’ve made sure my antivirus/firewall isn’t blocking it, I’ve repeatedly reset the internet, I’ve set up a new admin account and nothing changed there. I’m at my wits end with it honestly. I’ve no idea why both WoW and the launcher randomly stopped working on Thursday night. I’ve spent hours trying to fix this issue and i’m ready to give up… Help please?
I’ve opened a ticket but it says it can take up to 7 days to respond… My PC ran it fine on the highest graphics possible before this, so I can’t understand what changed…
