Try to understand… So I’ve get couple high-tear PvP gear and wanna to upgrade it, but looks like I need “carved harbinger crest”. Am I understand it correctly, for upgrading PvP gear I must go to reaids and mythic dungeons or delves with Key? NO other way to farm it?
You can get some crests from rep rewards. But for the most part? Yeah, if you want to upgrade your stuff for PvE you’ll need to do PvE.
Would be nice to get the odd crest from pvp too but, it’s not really the end of the world. If you do PvE too, you’ll get upgrades for PvE. If you purely do pvp. Well… You don’t really need to upgrade your gear. PvE world content is unlikely to pose any danger to you.
But the question is: I can gather these stuff from
- Delve with key
- Mythic dungeons
- Normal Raid
Am I correct?
Yes, to be more specific you will get them from the following:
-Normal Nerub-ar Palace bosses.
-Mythic Dungeons As in, the non-keystone version. Or mythic 0 as some call them.
-Mythic Keystone Dungeons Up to key level 3
-Delves Tier 6-7
Other sources of Carved Harbinger Crests I can find are:
-World Bosses. One is up every week. This week it’s in Hallowfall.
-Weekly World events. Such as the Theater on Isle of Dorn and Awaken the Machine in Ringing Deeps. Possibly some others. I’ve not been paying attention to what ones I get.
EDIT: I believe you need to have the delve be a Bountiful one and have a key for it to get crests from it.

Yeah I’ll try dive in to the Delves 6-7. But Mythic 0 I should only with pre-mades, or guild… right?
Given your item level is not too low and you know how to play. Getting into a mythic 0 with the group finder should not be too hard. Of course, everything is easier if you have some friends or guild to ask.
