your already spending your money on drugs its called wow and some of you are so addicted that you’ll keep subbing no matter how crap the game gets

It was nicer in six month segments IMO, a year is an awful long time to commit to a game.

especially when the next 12 months of content is largely unknown to everyone.
that would be potentially buying into the “.2” patch without even knowing whats in the “.0” patch.
the more people who buy this promotion …
imo gives them more reason to delay content releases.
get a large amount of people subbed for a year…
who cares dont have to release anything for a year anymore…
EDIT: hope those mounts are worth it… cause its the only content you’ll be getting for a while…
not to mention i doubt anyone will even use these mounts in a years time and they will be largely forgotten.

Well the last time they did an annual Subscription whas during the end of Cata where whas a content draught. Now they did not only for the first time give a pre-order pet, they now give a week after the pre-patch annual subscriptions too. So it give really off a bad vibe that Dragonflight will be at least having another content draught for many months and so now they try to bind customers beforehand in the hope of keeping them with the sunken cost fallacy.

As someone who has subbed six monthly for ages this is no big deal, the mounts are a bonus I would be paying the subscription anyway as I have no intension of quitting any day soon.
If you can not commit to 12 months, don’t complain, it’s nice to be rewarded even with pixels for commitment.
Nobody has given evidence of a gun being held to there head to do this.

For me, I don’t care, I wouldn’t use it.
My only goal is to try and achieve 60 by using what I learned about the game. Got stuck back then, purchased a midlevel legendary which enabled 5-10 extra levels. Then started rotating alts to trade gear. By the time I finished the starting tier (1-30) with each class, it was prepatch time.
I don’t expect D3C, given lack of revenue potential. I guess W3C was troubled because of the same, despite the remaster and all. (But, since I only have the old retail disks, I cannot play anymore. No matter. Total Annihilation and Age3 are enough for that itch.)

no more silly then spending it on mounts.
Each to their own. I have a few store mounts myself that I quite like the look of.
me 2… but in my defense they are some of the first store mounts…
when they started releasing them regularly… i instantly saw that trap coming.
If you always buy a 6 month or yearly sub it’s hardly a trap though

yea… but are people buying 6months for the content… or for the mount at this point?
because i do not see much in terms of content which values that length of sub in shadowlands.
Does it matter what they buy it for? It’s their money. I buy 6 months sub because I know I will be playing not for the mounts but they are a nice bonus.
