what im saying is…
i will resub on phase 2 of pre-patch…
i have not played since january 2021 for longer than 5 mins…
i will log in and blitz through all the shadowlands content in 2 weeks…
and be ready for DF before pre-patch is over…

that is not 6 months of content.
That is your take on it. That is however not my take on it… I still log in and play every day doing various things. Getting old achievements done and levelling is still content.
leveling will be better done in dragonflight tbh…
as far as old achievements go u can do that anytime didnt have to be shadowlands.

On its own, the 6 month sub equals 5 single months, so there is room for some breaks without actually losing out on money, while gaining some flexibility.
Even then, it would likely feel better to play 2-3 months during a period of 6.
I only took it because (in Classic) you need to play at the beginning to make the most of it (which I didn’t) and was looking forward to WLK (still am, my main hindrances are outside the game).
Given I’m playing classic, I technically pay for server access and customer service. Whether it’s appropriate I leave to the reader, we’re talking monopoly here. There is no content as I’ve already purchased the expansion in 2009 and my account was active throughout most of the expansion.
That is besides the point. I’m still spending time playing therefore buy 6 months sub. Not because of the mounts.
And I don’t see why I should wait until Dragonflight to level if I want to spend time doing it now? Why try to force your opinion on what people should buy AND do?
well i never said you shouldn’t buy i’m simply saying your sheep for not seeing the obvious cash grab and seeing the danger signs that this offer presents for the future of the expansion
I’m considering this offer because I plan to sub for next year anyway and due to inflation and foreign exchange rate, it might worth it. Still, it would have sweetened the deal if they added a further discount on the subscription fee.
expansions imo are best played in the first 3 months…
and the last 3 months…
that is when people are looking to be most social… (not so much shadowlands, there aint much content to be social over in shadowlands)
the gap inbetween are for the farmers and raid loggers and key pushers…
the people who play for those reasons as it is the only viable consistent content…
just saying the whole leveling experiance will prob be more friendly in DF than it is in shadowlands.
Honestly they care little for WoW.
They want Activision for CoD.
They can make it an Xbox exclusive and get all the PS suckers to buy an Xbox instead. CoD is by all means the biggest console shooter. It’ll end the Xbox vs PS war.

Just take note that you are arguing with someone who pays monthly just to be able to post on these forums, he willingly tells others to not spend their money on subs to actually play the game whilst he pays for subs/game time just to post on the games forum for years after having quit the game.
no it will be far more alt friendly… with much less hoops to jump through to progress alts…
that is why i said it.
I don’t progress my alts though besides doing mission tables on them 
i agree… COD was the name used in the court battles…
you didnt hear WOW at all besides in a side remark… but everytime they said COD they basically screamed it.
consoles need to make better games…

and shadowlands was not alt friendly…
i cant stick to one main i did try i lasted a few months … then fell behind because of real life… (major circumstances shifting)…
and shadowlands was designed in such a way it punished people for falling behind…

Same. If I had been able to upgrade, I might have.
But I’m not going to add 12 more months onto the 6 I already have. Not when I don’t know yet whether I’m going to enjoy DF enough.
As it’s a yearly thing you could probably still get them if you sub for a year after your 6 months run out. I don’t see them doing another yearly deal before this one will run out…so you will have a year to decide if it’s worth to sub for a year!
problem there is if you wait… say 6 months before you decide to take this offer…
you then have 6 months of limbo which is unkown and unplanned and it also knocks you off the cycle of future promotion cycles…
thats how these things are designed… they are “OPTIONAL”
but in reality it’s a FOMO “do it right now or miss out on the next one”
