I can buy the items from Vaskarn, and whilst they can be right-clicked, and animation, I don’t recieve the next level of crest, and the item is not consumed.
Didn’t think that should be disabled yet?

Yep having the same issue… rly strange. All the sudden after 22.00 i couldnt change my 6x Celebratory Pack of Runed Harbinger Crests into gilded crests -_-. 90 gilded crest down the drain this way…
I’m having the same issue , switch some around to be able to upgrade a bit and no now i have them in my bag and cant open them 
WE should have to 3 am to use them !
Just did an M+ and no one got crests rewarded at the end from the chest.
Same here, please please please consider turning them on for EU again, the patch is not over for us yet and taking the ability for some final S2 prep from us is very inconsiderate given how late some tuning changes came…
Same thing here, finished a m+ with no crests and can’t use the crest upgrades from Vaskarn.
Same did an +8 and got no gilded, also can’t get any crest from Pack of Runed Harbinger Crests only cast time and nothing happens…
I feel if you tend to turn this off when you do in us you need to have better communications to the EU players , this is far from being fare as you say patch day is 26 /2 for EU .
Got feedback on my ticket:
I understand that you want to know about not getting the Gilded Harbinger Crest
after completing some runs on Heroic Nerub-ar Palace and Mythic Keystone dungeons.
After investigating about this case, I have found that the reason for this is because the Gilded Harbinger Crest are currently no longer obtainable with the recent update of today and instead there might be a new way to forge even stronger weapons or easier forms of crafting the current ones once the season 2 drops.
I’m sorry that you can’t gear up in the meantime until season 2 starts but don’t worry for many exciting things are still to come once it drops. So be on the look up for that.
Idk man, either treat us the same as US and turn off crests etc. during the maintenance or global release the patch, but this ain’t it Blizzard… especially since some of us are now stuck in limbo for a week as the patch may hit but the new rewards most likely won’t be available yet so we can’t bump our ilvls anymore.

Stronger weapons or easier forms of crafting won’t help getting the transmog I was aiming to get before the end of our season, so ye, this is totally unreasonable from Blizzards side.

This is indeed a known issue and an unfortunate effect of how the timings were set up for the season transition.
While there sadly isn’t anything to do for this time, we’ll work on improvements to this for future content updates.

If by “known issue” you mean known in advance, let us know about it in advance as well, if any improvements are not in place for future content updates.

I just won 1 piece of heroic gear the night before the patch and knowing that season starts after 1 week I didn’t upgrade it immediately. Was it communicated somewhere that upgrade crests would become unavailable?
