I’m reaching out on behalf of many World of Warcraft players currently experiencing severe latency issues in-game. Typically, my latency remains around 20-35 ms, but since the launch of TWW, it has consistently increased to 100-200 ms. This drastic change is severely impacting the gameplay experience.
For context, I’ve been a WoW player since 2005, and this is by far the most significant technical issue I’ve encountered. The problem is not on my end, I consistently achieve 5-10 ms on network tests, and my connection is stable in every other game I play.
Other players experiencing the same issue are also reaching out to get Blizzard’s attention. Could you please confirm if this issue is being addressed? Many of us want to continue supporting the game, but we need assurance that these latency issues will be resolved soon.
Dont worry. Blizzard pee on you. I created many posts describing similiar problem. No answer, no reaction still lag and ping delay problem. So shut up, pay, play and cry. Its a new Blizzard/Activision politic. Don’t count on support.
BTW - 100-200ms? You’re lucky. My latency sometimes raises to 2500 ms
Here is an example. Look on the worse ping on ae1-br01-eqfr5.as57976.net and ae1-br01-eqfr5.as57976.net. It’s Blizzard’s end
YEP! Same. Evenings = 100+ms for like 3-4 hours. Can be kind of bypassed with VPN (20ms) but the game still has 1-3 sec lag spikes, spells not casting for a couple of seconds, even bosses lagging lmao. This is clearly something wrong with the latest patch (maybe new tech added that is enormously broken?)
i cancelled my subscription because I’m not even sure if Blizzard will ever fix this. I’m not gonna pay 15 dollar per month where it’s unplayable in the evenings.
Even Echo players (world first raiding guild) have this problem. Gonna be fun to watch the next Race To World First livestream where everyone is lagging out.
Well that’s actually a good thing, If the pros are having problems things tend to get fixed faster :), I will keep paying and playing but I sure hope they fix it asap.
