I have a PvE question.
Should I use my cooldowns (burst) only at bossfights? Or should I use my cooldowns everytime I can throughout the dungeon or raid.

Use on trash… so you’re going to hold a 2minute cd for over 6-10minutes. Wasting 3-5 uses of a spell. That’ll be back for the fight anyhow…
In dungeon use it everytime available unless something big is coming up in a dungeon. it’s a 2-3 min window, you can plan ahead.
In raid use it on trash too, they can be reset with a pull and reset of the boss.
It depends tbh. I’d suggest using them freely to get trash down quicker are usually better, especially in mythic+. In raids you can reset cooldowns if you want to at a boss anyways(pull and reset).
Just use them as often as possible within reason, but usually you want to make sure they’re ready again when reaching a boss (esp tyrannical ones).

No, you really don’t.
If you pop CD’s once on a boss does it matter if its at the start or at 50% when they come up again? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
