In the old days (original vanilla wow in the 90s) we got the error message “you cant use that” when trying to eat a health-potion, and you stayed in bear form. Now in classic hardcore it takes you out of bear form and the potion takes effect. Why/when did they change this ? (its also the same with the regrowth spell)
Are you sure its not a addon doing it? havent tried it myself in hardcore but I know Leatrix plus had a option for that in it.
Option for what ?
Of auto shifting you out of a form so you could do things like for example talk to npcs and other such things.
I dont know what Leatrix had an option for or not, but that is totally un-interesting. What is interesting is how it was in vanilla and without any 3d party software/addons.
And my question was if you are sure that its not a addon causing it to happen now… After that I gave a example of a addon that could have caused it when classic came out atleast.
Im not using any addon, so no, its not an addon thing.
Lots of things different now from Vanilla. You auto-get up to loot, drink and eat. You can move things around in bags while on Gryphon. You can even change gear on Gryphon.
Do you know when these changes came, did they all come at same time ?
No idea. I just remember being frustrated that Classic was not like Vanilla in this many small ways. But I think auto-get up was latest patch with new UI and HC servers. Other have been in since launch of Classic.
Also you can mount on ship - but not in Booty Bay. Open maps not closes your bag. Hunters can use special shots running … many, many small, and not small things.
I stopped playing BfA and returned for Classic.
