I have a steelseries apex keyboard with programmable buttons, I’ve read a few posts regarding using macros to do multiple actions and how it’s against the TOS.
I was wondering if I am allowed to bind the extra buttons to say…
You are allowed to bind any key to any spell really.
The only time the ToS will get in your way is if you’re automating, that is telling your keyboard software that when you press a specific button (say button {X}) it should simulate pressing button {A} and then {B} right after automatically. This example would let you bypass the limitations of wow macros where putting multiple proper actions/spells in a macro would require you to click it multiple times, and giving you a potential edge. Other custom keyboard features such as delayed actions (when i press {X} it will auto-press {shift-P} in 100ms) are problematic too but for simply binding buttons (even the hundred extra buttons you may have) to single abilities/macros you’ll never have to worry about the ToS.
