Hadn’t thought of this issue til I was using Siren isle in tempest mode, not sure how to solve it or if there is currently a solution.
Situation: When in tempest mode there are various extra weapons you can use i.e. crawler mines and grenade launcher (more to be added apparently), these use the Extra Action Button to function. Also to get around the island a bit faster is the Experimental Go-Pack (referring to the buyable version rather than the Quest one) This also uses the extra action button for both takeoff and the jump to location function.
Problem: As both the weapons and the gopack use the extra action button one overrides the other, From testing, if you activate the gopack (get the buff, buffId: 469809) this will give you the extra action ability “Experimental Go-Pack” (which is the jet jump ability spellid: 467294) when used will throw you in the air and switch the extra action button "Experimental Go-Pack (which is the dive to location ability spellid: 469807). Now if I go pick up the Ricket’s Special Delivery weapon (grenade launcher) I gain the buff “Ricket’s Special Delivery” (buffid: 467787) and my extra action button switches to the ability “Ricket’s Special Delivery” (spellid: 471522). This stops me from using the rocket jump ability despite having the rocket buff without reusing the original (finite) Experimental Go-Pack item to trigger the jump which uses the item but doesn’t refresh the rocket buff, nor maintain access to the jump ability via the extra action button (while there’s a weapon buff active)
I’ve tried dragging the abilities onto action bar but not possible for these abilities, a “/click ExtraActionButton 1” is just going to use the current active ability.
TL:DR > Can’t use both the Siren Isle Tempest Mode Weapons and Experimental Go-Pack at the same time as they both use the extra action button.
Any idea or is this just an oversight.
